The Returned (Les Revenants) [Season 2]
The long-long-long-awaited second season of the wonderful drama-fantasy-mystery series The Returned will premiere in its native France on September 28th (on Canal+).
SundanceTV is still only saying "this fall." I hope the gap between its French airing and its U.S. airing is not too long.

Wonderful season premiere. Instantly absorbing, atmospheric, haunting, and intriguing. Instantly drew me into the characters and their world again. This series just sends shivers down my spine.

I've been hearing from seome French friends of mine that Season 2 is much much worse than the first. Apparently the overall reaction to it in France is mixed to negative...

I love it so far. Not sure why anyone would dig the first season and not this. They feel very cohesive and tightly woven to me despite the lengthy-for-television gap between the seasons.

Finally watched it. Amazing season. It does start slow and looks like it's going nowhere but when it all comes together it hits the target right in the middle. This is what Lost wanted to be. And Les Revenants managed to do it in 16 episodes and got the ending right. One of the best shows I've ever watched!
