The Extreme Makeover: Home Edition thread
This show screens on cable here in the uk, and i LOVE it. There was this one really sad episode with a family whos mother died then a few weeks later their father died from a heart attack; and there were like 6 kids who were going to be given up to social care unless their big sisters came home to be guardians, and they gave them like this huge dream home and burned their mortgage, it was great

this show is totally a guilty pleasure of mine. I love it. And I do remember that episode. It gets a lot better when the season rolls on.

Both episodes I've seen have been tear jerkers. Hence the reason I don't like the show very much as it tries to hard to appeal to the emotions.

They are filming near me this week, and after school I hopped on the interstate and drove across the bay to see it in action. I might Eduardo and Constance while watching, and I must say it was very, very cool. Very nice people. The house is looking lovely, considering they just started Monday. I can't wait to see the finished product. From what I saw, they were putting on the decorative molding to the exterior. This home is for a man who was recently blinded after being shot in a Radio Shack nearby. A guy came in and killed three people, and did this to him. So sad. It's great to see the EHM crew in action, too!
