Five paid a record £450k, or around $865k an episode to show Joey, and launched the show admist a blitz of publicity and much hype. So when the antics of Joey began to air with an unimpressive double span that was even more Americanised than the cultural stalwart "Friends" then Joey turned off audiences. |
