Two and a Half Men looks well-suited to take over Everybody Loves Raymond's Monday at 9 time slot next season.

That was the funniest 2 and a half men I've ever seen, it's definitely improving over time.

Seriously. Other than Arrested Development (and maybe the ABC TGIF comedies!), it's my favorite sitcom.

Are you kidding me? Theres nothing funny about the show...at all. The characters are hollow, the kid pisses me off. Its the most unlikable sitcom since "Raymond" which not surprisingly never took off anywhere else but America.

You said you just watched the premiere, so you're like 30+ episodes behind. Check it out later on.
This isn't a great era for comedy though, so I'm not claiming it's Seinfeld or similar.

Relatively good for UPN. It's been a while since a UPN show got a rating higher than 3.

After AD it's my favourite sitcom, last night's was a good episode but I think there have been funnier. I kind of figured that the doctor would have known Charlie, as apparently all the women in the area do. I thought last week's episode was a bit better - Jake standing out in the rain as Benjamin Franklin was hilarious. This season it's been funnier than Raymond.
