ALIAS is slipping quite fast. Lost dropped in total viewers, lowest in over a month. Man, I HATE American Idol. |

ALIAS is slipping because American Idol moved to 9pm from its original 8pm slot on Wednesdays. I like the new format Libs! |

I think the WB regrets cancelling Angel. |

Considering Alias is WAY up from The Bachelor, beating The West Wing in the Adults 18-49 category and total viewers, and doing better than it was with minimal competition on Sundays, it's holding up. Slipping, yes. Holding up, yes. |

AI has held up uncharacteristically well for the post-audition episodes. |

Alias wasn't even down 1 million viewers from last time. Nothing to worry about on ABC's end. I'm more impressed with The West Wing narrowing the gap in total viewers, with a crappy episode to boot. I would expect some improvement from Alias next week since American Idol on Wednesday will be a results show and those are generally much lower than performance/audition shows. |

It was down 5%, at the most, compared to about 10% for lead-in lost. As long as it can stay above 10 million viewers its a great hold for a show going up against American Idol. In fact, I can't think of another show off the top of my head that has held up as well going up against it, other than Lost when AI was at 8. Alias is performing better than King of Queen, Yes, Dear, MY Wife & Kids, The Simple Life, That 70s Show, The WEst Wing, etc. Al of which were doing well before American Idol. It'd doing better than Bachelor eventhough it aired without the AI competition. |
