http://naturalflux7.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1505 American Idol topped the night, but showed a slightly worrying decline of 20% from its debut last night, still it provided huge ratings and won the night for FOX. But Lost remained resillient and Alias won its timeslot again, growing 100,000 viewers from last week and smackething down FOX'S "Point Pleasant" which lost nearly 60% of its lead in. |

Excellent!!! Lost is still kicking ass, Alias is doing so much better than last season, and AI fell 20%!!! Let's keep those drops coming  I was hoping that Point Pleasant would do better, but it isn't dead yet. It was pure idiocy to put it up against Alias and then to move it up against CSI, its only the #1 show on tv. |

I think Point Pleasant has potential to be good, but I didn't like the first episode. Second episode looks a lot better. |

I think putting Point Pleasant opposite Alias is a pretty bad idea. The core fanbase for alias, ie the cult auds, are pretty much the same as Point Pleasant's, and it was a bad drop from the lead in. Alias' biggest drop from Lost has been 28%, compared to Pleasant's near 60% dive. |

I think those are EXCELLENT numbers for LOST and amazing for ALIAS, that it actually grew from last week! I think down the line, probably during February sweeps, when LOST comes back with new episodes, Idol will be down in the low 20's or even high 10's and LOST can pass it... I hope Idol just keeps on falling! From what I read at Tv Tracker, Lost got around 19 million viewers while American Idol was around 26 million, down from 33 million the day before. |

Point Pleasant's regular night is going to be on Thursdays, after The O.C. |
