Buffy the Vampire Slayer is definitely on that. She deserves a top 10 spot, but she will probably be in the late 20's early 30's. I guarantee that Buffy is on there, she HAS to be. If she isn't, then no more Bravo for me! |

Hawkeye from M*A*S*H!!! Dear god, I don't think there's many funnier characters in television history. Hawkeye Pearce may be the funniest. Well, at least the first few years, before Alan Alda began taking more control of the camera. |

Kramer George Costanza Much as I loved them, Jerry and Elaine were kind of just bland and there to move the plot along. But Kramer and George were so vivid and unique. Also... - Black Adder - Simon Templar (The Saint) - J.R. Ewing - Sonny Crockett - Lou Grant (on the MTM show, not the Lou Grant show) - Louie DePalma (Taxi) - Hawkeye Pierce (Mash) - Gareth (The office) - Number 6 (The Prisoner) These are not in order, just a bunch to add to the already named good ones. |

Bump - list has been completed and I can't complain about the #1 - Archie Bunker. If you ever saw one of the episodes where he had a fight / discussion with Meathead / Mike Stivic / the son - in - law, you would understand, they were classic. In ending, Archie Bunker and All in the Family changed television. |

matatonio wrote: i dont like the top 10! well just Kramden and Bunker dont belong there! haha! i forgot about Cartman!!!! he should be on the top 15 at least! Considering that Gleason was big in the 50's plus reruns forever and All in the Family was in the 70's, I bet there are lots that would share your opinion. But since this list covers over 50 + years on tv history, I think it is a good list. And since Cartman made 19, I think that is still pretty good. In the top 20 of all of the tv characters in the history of tv. |
