Wow, another record high for Desperate Housewives. This is approaching CSI territory here. |

Wow, DH has gone from breakout hit to complete phenomenon. I wouldn't be surprised to see series-high numbers for next week's episode again. |

I thought that was one of the worst episodes of the Simpsons in recent memory. I did not laugh once, there may have been a chuckle here or there but i was very dissapointed. I hope this isn't a trend this season. Of the 3 so far i have liked one, last week's. |

The Desperate Housewife number will go down next week. Believe it or not, there was a push in ratings because of the Monday Night Football controversy last week. Their Desperate Housewives promotion during that football game worked better than they ever thought it would, thanks to everyone TALKING about it for an entire week. |

I won't argue that it will go down, but I don't think the MNF controversy had a lot to do with it. The show continues doing better each week. I doubt a controversial promo during a football game really brought in more viewers. |

I do think it was helped a bit by the Football scandal. But the show had already been increasing in past week, and with ads for next week claiming one of the housewives will be gone I think people will tune in. It could be the number one show by the end of the season. ![]() |

The entire week I heard about that skit ad nauseum. Morning news shows, sports shows, etc... |

I disagree completely.... While, I believe MNF attributed to its growing audience, the trend showed that every week was growing in audience anyway. Plus, as for the clip being EVERYWHERE.... I only saw it once and that was during the WB news at 10 on Tuesday or Wednesday or something. Plus, this episode by far the best and next week's looks to be like this one, so all thsoe who tuned in will defintely continue on watching. Also, I know many people who usually watch it but missed it last night. This show is really turning into a phenomenon!! I wish SO much that Alias really breaks out this season. |

I saw the clip on countless stations, and even on The Today Show. Now that I think about it, it probably did play a role in it. |

In most of Texas, Desperate Housewives was pre-empted last night for a football game and was later shown at like midnight. So...the ratings were artificially depressed a little over that, even if just a small amount, hard to say how big an effect it had on the national number. |
