Another huge night for Commander. Earl rebounded, while The Office did much better than it usually does due to Earl no doubt. It beat BL2(BL2 still did good though). Its nice to see Amazing Race: Family Edition getting the weaker ratings it deserves when compared to the real editions.

Fox woulda been higher on the ratings if it'd been playing House instead of baseball... Man, I hate show pre-emptions. I can't wait 'til November 1.

Good to see Earl doing well. Hopefully it'll pick up even more viewers as word gets out on how good it really is.

It's pretty odd to see it (and The Office) rebounding so well after their second episode dip though. Does House usually play in their time slot on Fox?

The growth for Commander in Chief in its second week is the best news ABC has had since Lost debuted huge.

What exactly is this Commander In Chief of which you all speak (and watch... if the ratings are anything to go by). I could look it up I suppose, but my laziness far outweighs my curiosity.

Whatever it is, it sounds rubbish.

I completely agree... while it definitely won't build like Lost and Housewives did last season, just the fact that it didn't drop after an uber-high debut considering the bomb-possibility of the show is just freakin amazing.

Tuesday is starting to be the most competitive night of the week or maybe close behind Wednesdays (Thursdays and Sundays are owned by respective networks, so they're not as "competitive" among all the networks)

ABC is on a roll!!! I have to admit though I kinda wanted to tune in to see the second episode of Commander in Chief even without having seen the premiere cuz it actually is starting to look good through the promos. But I had work and this and that, so....

If only Invasion had held on to its viewers, well... that would ahve been something!
Come on, now all we need is great numbers for Alias!

It's about a female Vice President made President after the President dies of a stroke. Stars Geena Davis and Donald Sutherland.

And.. way to go Commander in Chief! I really liked the first one and Tivoed the second episode, which I'll watch sometime today.

Sounds like it could be interesting, I suppose...

I hope they got someone attractive yet freakishly tall and chipmunk-cheeked to play the female President. It sounds like a role tailor suited to someone like Geena Davis.

I don't think they were reported because of the holiday. We'll probably have to wait till next week when the weekly actuals come out!

I hope that those numbers will eventually be available for Monday from mediaweek.com, or it's going to suck as far as my Monday chart goes.

Are you guys alright with me just posting the charts in the daily ratings thread, or would you rather I start a thread for the tracking charts? It doesn't matter to me, either way.

No big deal but I think CiC deserves the top line or especially if it gets #1 next week. Especially since it didn't play the 1st week.

Yep, it's yet another Jerry Bruckheimer Crime drama. The man seriously is the producer for over ten TV series in addition to all the movies he works on as well. How does he have the time?

I would've thought Close to Home would've done better, as those ratings are comparable to former time slot occupant Judging Amy, which CBS was quick enough to axe after a long run last year.

I'll move it to the top if it lands at #1 next week. Incase anybody doesn't know, the number I'm putting in parenthesis in each column, is where it charted during the week in question.

It's really getting weird to see how well ABC is suddenly doing. It's got hits with Lost, Housewives, Commander-in-Chief, Boston Legal, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Grey's Anatomy, and obviously Monday Night Football will score good ratings (even if it's the last season on ABC). Then, there's fairly decent hits with Invasion, Supernanny, Hope and Faith, 20/20, Wife Swap, and possibly Alias and The Night Stalker, should they do well in their second week tomorrow night.

The only real low points are According to Jim and Rodney. Everything else is fairly decent. We'll see how George Lopez, Freddie, and Hot Properties can do in the line of comedies. If they can build some new comedies, they'll be in business.

George Lopez is so pathetically unfunny. I can't believe how bad that show is.

NBC = NoBody Cares.
