Post The 'Everyone loves this show but me' thread
So this is to showcase all the shows that are seemingly regarded as amazing, really raved about, but when you watch it you can't see any light in them whatsoever. Just not your thing.

My list:
Arrested Development
Alias

Arrested Development is the ugliest show on tv(camera work), and the jokes don't even smirk me at all. They seem over the top, unneeded, trying too hard, etc. I've tried watching it like 3 times. Same thing.

Alias, its also very shotty. Things happen for no reason, there wasn't much character time in the episodes I've seen, it just seems over-rated. And the stuff that happens in it are very very illogical.

I won't get into Arrested Development, since I'm obviously biased towards the show. And Alias. If you're looking for logic, television isn't a great place, either. But, this is your thread, so...

Critics-wise, I don't get why everyone loved The West Wing in its prime. Now, it's the it-thing to hate the show, but I never understood the love. Same for Will & Grace.

in its prime, the west wing was a great show.

after rob lowe left started its downfall for me.

as for my picks... i think will and grace is one. i saw one episode of it and hated it.

roseanne was another that i didnt understand. grace under fire too.

I don't like Raymond much, either.

Also? I might get severly beaten for this, but Desperate Housewives doesn't meet the hype.

Psh. You watched one episode and focused on how "hot" everyone was. Of course it didn't meet the hype. Heh.

I agree. It's not that good of a show. It gets bonus points for Eva Longoria being on it, but I can't stand Marcia Cross so that basicly gets cancelled out.

(Gosh, they're all from CBS. All the more for me to hate the network)

Be thankful that you've never heard Fran Drescher's voice.

Grey's Anatomy. (I just don't understand the love for the show. It's not bad, but not deserving of such ratings)

Survivor

The Family Guy

Well, I've only caught it a few times, and it just didn't grab me like it seems to have grabbed everyone else, so I listed it.

I haven't watched The Simpsons in years, but I used to watch it, and always enjoyed it when I did.
