Any of you watch this guy? He's on after Letterman, produced by WW Pants, Letterman's company, he's the replacement for Craig Killborn. This show is growing on me, he's got this kind of babbling what ever is on his mind quality that early Letterman had. Thumbs up, I expect it will slowly become popular and be around a while.

He's great. I watch him whenever Conan is a repeat if thats any kind of compliment.

Great show, a little draggy at times...I wish he had better guest though.

I never watched it, because I can't imagine Mr. Wick hosting his own show. I always expect a really zany, off-the-wall guy that you can't really control and is better suited with other forms of comedy. What kind of host is he, Archie?

In the interviews and monologue he's down to earth and comes across as a regular guy. He does do some zany off the wall stuff as you can see in these skits here : http://www.cbs.com/latenight/latelate/comedy/

But mostly it is him talking about things that bug him about every day life, like shopping in a supermarket or reading a tabloid.

I was suprised to see that he's not English, he's Scottish, he just put an English accent on for the Drew Carey show, so he comes across really different from his Carey show to me.

He reminds me of early David Letterman. Letterman used to be the no-b.s. guy who just said what was on his mind and called executives empty suits and mocked the head of NBC and stuff like that. Letterman is now very corporate himself but Ferguson still has that spunk.

It's mostly just him talking, almost like a good radio show. It's still rough around the edges though, even if you didn't know it, you could tell it's a new show, the credits are cheap and barely there, and the set is small. But it has potential, I think Letterman made a good pick.

I like the guy's sense of humor (I especially foung it humorous how he picked the winners during the NFL Playoffs based on the "scaryness" of the team's logo). The problem is that he rarely gets decent guests that I actually care about listening to. Once this is remedied, I'll definitely watch him more. He is better than Kilborn was.

But how watched is he.

Doesn't Leno & Conan O'Brien have a better lead-in and ratings than him and Letterman?

Anyone know the ratings of the 4 late night guys?

Of course his ratings must be very low, it's a brand new show, Conan had hardly any ratings for years.

I really dont have an exact number, but I remember something like....

For a while, JAy had a huge lead over David, something like Jay had 13.0 and David had 10.8 or something, but either David's getting better of Jay's getting suckier cause the margin has been cut down to .4 the last time I checked.

Then Conan basically dominates his timeslot. I think it holds on to like more then 60% of Jay's audience.
I think Tonight Shows ratings will SKYROCKET if Conan stays the way he is when he takes the tonight show seat.
