Officially my favorite season. Dont curr what happens next.

Awesome episode. That ending showed both Regina and Rumplestiltskin still have too much vengeance in them to be fully redeemed right now. Regina's I Won Bitch smile in the crypt was almost as telling as Rumple stabbing Zelena, she may have semi-believed the goodness laying it on thick, but most of all wanted to win and rub it in Zelena's face. I think Zelena faked Regina's light magic because getting killed by one of them in revenge was the final part of her plan (echoing the Dorothy/water trick)

I think Zelena is dead. When Rumple killed her, her magic came out of the locket and caused a chain reaction opening a time portal. Next week looks like it will be somewhat a Back to the Future episode with Emma and Hook traveling through time.

that was a great episode, I loved the use of time travel, especially the Back to the Future references. It looks like Captain Swan is official. I think they make a good couple. Of course, they both screwed up. First, Emma saving Maid Marion (of course Regina killing her originally set that up). And then Hook picked up that vase bringing it to Storybrook. It looks like that is the Snow Queen, so they will be going with Frozen next season.

I haven't watched yet, but they're seriously already incorporating Frozen?

lol yeah that is the only thing that bothers me. It was a really a great 2 parter. Had a lot of humor and I liked seeing a different perspective of previous events (like BTTF 2). It does seem like Disney will be trying to milk Frozen's success next season. I wanted them to bring in Jafar since he is stuck in the bottle (one of the best things about Wonderland), but maybe they will do that in the second half.

Watched the first half of the finale today, which was fine if kind of pointless. Seemed more like filler than anything else. Will probably watch the second half later today.

GREAT FINALE. After a season with Regina and Rumple so heavily in the storyline, bringing the story back to Emma and the Charmings, really helped balance it out. And man there was so many good moments in that episode from humor to sentimentality to adventure. Another classic season, easily 3 of the best sci fi or fantasy TV seasons ever

Ugh, I was actually considering dropping this show but they've officially pulled my favorite "Lost" alum Elizabeth Mitchell in for season 4 so I now have to watch. I suffered through a full season of "Revolution" for her

Looks like Kristen Van Bauer Straten as Maleficent is signed for a "major arc" in the 2nd half of the season

I'm so upset I have to watch this in a few weeks with their D-list Frozen casting Elizabeth Mitchell better be good.

Rewatched the first 5 Neverland episodes, I wanted to do the whole season before S4 starts, but I came up with an idea to have written a blog review post for every Once episode one day (keeping them at onceuponajulien.wordpress.com), it took a while so I'll probably only have 5 done by the premiere

Mannn this show is just da greatness. Agree that the Neverland portion is the most the storytelling gets bogged down, but in terms of emotional and theme richness, just aces so far. Didn't realize at all the first time how great Snow White is in this season considering a plot otherwise never centres around her. Her and Emma have an emotionally resonant scene in like every episode dealing with Emma not accepting her as a mother yet and Snow's insecurity about it, in addition to some strong Snow-Charming scenes

Stuff like this scene is so great



Other than the big I'm sorry moment at (:41), the anger look in Emma's eyes at (:05), Snow's "you gonna be my daughter or what" mother death stare (:31), Emma using Mary-Margaret as her name after and Snow reacting in a shielded resentful way to Emma's decision (:53), the heart beating over top of the scene in the background (around the :50 mark), and that's before considering the complex subject to these characters Snow brings up about crossing the line and how one starts down the path of making Regina mistakes (especially considering they found out before the scene Henry had cut that kid's face) and whether the entire reason Snow didn't like the plan is because Regina did

Also, Peter Pan trying to manipulate the fuck out of everyone this season is just so great

I wonder how much the Frozen involvement will help the premiere ratings. Will it break double digits again?

Thank god it's finally premiering because I'm SO SICK of hearing about that. Especially since it looks so cheap to begin with.

A rating like 2.8 would be fine

I really loved the special effects and enjoyed the premiere overall.

this show is embarrassingly bad

I mean it wasgood but the special effects were at their worst.

I thought it was a good premier. I am glad we will finally learn who wrote the book.

A lot of fun storytelling in past and present and the Hook/Emma and Rumplestiltskin/Belle scenes were excellent. As an episode that sucker moved!

Gonna need some time to get used to the book plot line if it becomes a big thing, the idea of some change fate by changing the book story doesn't feel right, but then again in 1 episode they introduced a Regina plot that didn't 'feel right' (her going evil against so fast) and then reversed it, so I assume they can also reverse this by showing Regina is all on the wrong track by thinking there's a fate that makes her a villain instead of her own choices. Regina thinking the book determines fate is basically all a theory right now based on very little.

Not enough Elsa.

Premiere was OK. The CGI was bad but far from their worst like that horrific Medusa episode. I don't know how they're going to incorporate Frozen into the entire season though. They covered most of the fan-favorite characters in this episode already.

This did amazing last night by the way. 3.4 in the demo.
