Why are ABC shows pulling these epic cliffahngers before the finale?,

So The Greysons are broke, Takeida is dead, Charlotte is preggers, Conrad is probably winning the election, Victoria knows his husband caused the death of amanda and the Initiative started its attack.......

Alll of that in ... 2 minutes?...yet they spent the whole season doing nonsense...

Fck i need next episode right now.

This past episode was worth it alone for the return of the chilly iciness between Victoria and Emily, an element that has been sorely missing this season.

Or that it had a SWORD FIGHT out of nowhere. That was awesome. Too bad it ended with Takeda dead and not Aiden, who I'm getting really bored with.

Indeed. The finale was very exciting.

Emily finally tells Jack the truth! The show finally has the balls to kill off useless Declan! Nolan gets framed! Victoria's illegitimate son emerges! Conrad is the head of the Initiative!

This show lost its a way bit this season and was essentially replaced by Scandal as the top "OMG GASP" show on TV. I watched every episode this season and still couldn't really provide a synopsis of just what the hell happened this year. It was SO convoluted.

But I think it can get back on track, especially with the things set up by this finale. Now Conrad is set up as the show's definitive, tangible villain extraordinare. Which gives Henry Czerny plenty of opportunity to chew on the scenery as he does best.

Of course this stupid show would be boring as hell for 18 episodes (I'm not including the big "Amanda death" episode and the aftermath) this season and then have probably the most epic finale of any broadcast drama so far this season. More happened in those two hours than the ENTIRE SEASON.

Showrunner/series creator Mike Kelley is either leaving or was forced out by ABC as of the end of this season, so maybe he wanted to just blow everything up.

I would have preferred Aiden to still be alive or in prison. A shame he's been killed. Have no issue with Declan really and his demise was handled well (and expected).

Great final episode. The two Revenge series finales have just been incredibly epic. This season of Revenge would have worked perfectly with 12 episodes I think. Though I was generally satisfied with the season as a whole.

I doubt Aiden is dead. We never saw anything actually happen.

It's possible. They teased it with the gun and the blood on Daniels sleeve.

I suspect they'll show the missing scene next season and perhaps both got out with minor injuries and perhaps a joint mission to see to The Governors demise.

It was an odd scene. At that point, too, Daniel knew Aiden wasn't guilty...

Could set things up for an Emily/Nolan prison escape (seeing as Emily's home was the scene of the crime).

Something tells me that Nolan or Aiden get formally charged/ convicted for wiping out the foundation money.

Jack has nothing else to lose except Carl. The boat, Amanda, Declan, his father, Sammy...

Ashley Madekwe has been let go from the series due to "storytelling reasons."

Perfectly fine actress but useless character. I'm glad they're trimming some of the fat (Declan and Ashley, namely) from this show.

Yeah, I actually like her a lot as an actress and have since she was on "Secret Diary of a Call Girl." I'm sure she'll find another job soon.

As with The Good Wife, likely won't get to the premiere until tomorrow or later. But bumping this now to cut down on unnecessary thread creations...

I dropped this show. I don't really remember how many episodes I've watched from season 2, but the show became too predictable and boring an it felt like they're stretching out plots for no apparent reason. And I was annoyed by a lot of characters. I might check out the season premiere though.

The second season finale was essentially one of like 4 episodes total in the second season worth watching :P

The premiere was OK. I'm glad that they essentially addressed how useless most of the second season was and dropped most of the annoying plotlines right away (Emily going "let's never mention the Initiative again.") I was also glad that they actually wrote off Ashley since it seemed like when her departure was announced it wasn't really going to be explained. The opening was good and I'm curious to see how things play out. Since the entire season seems to take place over a two month period though (unless the wedding happens before the finale) I hope it doesn't drag.

I was so happy watching this season premiere, I really felt like things were soapy fun again like season 1. No more annoying, deeply muddled Initiative plotlines, thank god.

Emily getting shot and toppling off a yacht is a pretty great hook for the season too.

Buh bye, Ashley. Don't let the plane door hit you on the way back to England.

Also, LOL/ew @ all the sexual tension between Victoria and Patrick. Wut. I keep hearing Nolan is going to get another love interest this season...I hope it's Patrick!
