 Re: True Blood | Season 4 | June 26th
LOL! The ending was so cheesy--with the vamps doing the Right Stuff slow-motion walk towards the camera, coupled with the industrial "Burning Down the House" cover.
Good episode, though.

Ya it was solid after last week's worst-of-the-show episode. Jessica is by far the best character on the show right now, wish she had more scenes this week.

 Re: True Blood | Season 4 | June 26th
This season Freaking love Fiona Shaw and her batshit craziness. Also: Tommy's death scene was sad, not the actual death (Sam's response that "that's so fucking sad" regarding Sam being the best thing that ever happened to him was both sad and true). The slo mo of The Matrix Vampires with the "Burning Down the House" cover was hilariously and purposefully over-the-top. Also, literally the entire cast is, like, a hostage of Marntonia's. That's hilarious.

Ok, I'm mixed about the finale being dull, but the last 5 minutes were Amazing starting with Alcide and Jason!

 Re: True Blood | Season 4 | June 26th
The last five minutes were unbelievable. Three characters died in the last 2 minutes. And Sam and Jason's lives are in danger although I think Sam will be fine, probably turn himself into a lion and tear the werewolf apart. And as long as Jason doesn't invite Steve in nothing will happen to him. Tara's death was a slight shock. I feel bad for Lafayette he now has lost two people he cares about in about 24 hours.

 Re: True Blood | Season 4 | June 26th
I highly doubt Tara is actually dead. I remember reading somewhere that if a character wasn't killed off in the book, they couldn't be killed off on the show.

 Re: True Blood | Season 4 | June 26th
The witch finale was a little disappointing as it wasn't quite the satisfying, epic conclusion like past True Blood finales (specifically Mary Anne). I enjoyed most of the cliffhangers, especially Reverend Steve Newlin as a vampire and of course Russell breaking free.
I don't think any of the deaths were that surprising. I used to really love Tara as a character in Season 1 when she was hilarious, but now... I don't think I'll miss her much.

Haven't they already broken that rule before? I want to say at least one character has been killed off in the past who is still alive in the books. Nan maybe? Also, don't see how she can survive with a 1/3 of her head blown off.

She could come back as a ghost, but it will be interesting to see what they do.

 Re: True Blood | Season 4 | June 26th
The Tara thing was sort of ruined for me as soon as Sookie talked about wanting to be old on the porch and Tara said I hope I'll be there too. The "SHE GUNNA DIE!!!" bell rung there. I don't like the idea of them just bringing her back and I REALLY don't want ghosts to become a permanent thing. Maybe zombies is one of the next logical steps???
Overall awesome finale though, loved every second
"What a bitch"
