Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4)
I enjoyed the slow, character-focused pace (I've enjoyed S4 overall for that reason -- loved the sickness storyline) but thought it came off as silly. Michonne's flashback/nightmare was absolutely hilarious due to how it was presented.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4)
I agree with that. It was an odd scene, but it seems that's kinda what they were going for.
Also, I'm fine with people being stupid if they're stupid people. But Carl has been growing up in this. You would think he would've learned by now not to randomly open doors and not look where he's going.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4)
I should give the show credit: I actually thought for a beat that they might kill off Carl.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4)
The zombie behind the door scene actually made my GF and I jump. (Duh on my part, but she's usually pretty calm on that kinda stuff) So bravo for that.
Also, someone pointed out that the BBQ scene foreshadowed the father/son "should i kill my dad" moment.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4)
I very, very much enjoyed last night's episode. It was truly intense at times and captured a real sense of post-apocalyptic chaos and disorientation.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4)
I agree. Rick trapped under the bed was good stuff. And Michonne finding that play room was very upsetting.

The show needs more of that new Comic Con group that was with Glenn last night.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4)
I do enjoy how they've added another attractive female.
Also, Michonne is a WAY better mom than Lori.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4)
I'm with Magnus. I'm fine with not moving the plot a ton, as long as they have episodes like this. Give us stories.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4)
Finally caught up.
Claimed was great in parts, particularly Rick hiding in the house. The show doesn't give us a sense of other survivors besides those listed in the credits, so it felt nice to give some time to non-stars, especially dangerous ones.
The Daryl/Beth episode was fantastic. It's unfortunate that The Walking Dead does so much when it does nothing at all. That was the way to further the show without furthering the main plot. Kind of put Carl's mini-meltdown in the winter premiere to shame.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4)
This second half of the season has been so much better than last years second half.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4)
Also, the whole sequence of Daryl opening the door and running through the house, to him chasing the car was all GREAT stuff.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4)
I just hope Terminus doesn't end up being a bigger, more secure prison setting. I've greatly enjoyed having them out in the open and vulnerable. It adds a whole layer to the show. I know budgets don't allow for them to constantly move, but I just don't want them to be stuck in one place for an extended period again.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4)
Wasn't she hardened and intense a few episodes ago, or am I insane? I feel as if this zombie-sympathizer storyline for the older girl came out of nowhere.
She clearly does not respect the life of the mouse.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4)
Pretty much it was somewhat similiar to the two twin boys from the comic book story except it ended up having Carl kill off the evil twins.
