I'm soooooooooooo dissapointed with this episode, wtf is wrong?

This went from epic to complete trash in 3 episodes.

The episode overall was pretty underwhelming and boring. But the ending was awesome. Pure DH at its peak. I'm glad they still have those kind of moments.

The ending was great and pretty chilling. Emily Bergl was fantastic.

The ending was great. But everything else about that episode was terrible, DH at its worst. However, I do hope the ending finally ignites this season into something decent.

Post Re: Desperate Housewives (Season 7) - Vanessa Williams new H
So two seasons in a row Housewives just collapsed after December finale. It's all great, fun and fresh and then suddenly it collapses? The last episode was good, but it feels like at the half point the whole show got taken over by a completely different team which didn't get the grasp of the feel of the show, characters, etc...

Andrew pops up as a drunk just so Bree could have something to do? Kill off people if you don't have idea what to do with them. Make it a murder mystery. I love Bree, she's my favorite character but her storylines are pointless. Susan's too. She has "gotten" and "lost" a new kidney so many times NOBODY cares anymore. I mean everybody is pretty much having pointless stories.

Housewives once had greatly intertwined stories that payed off on many accounts. Now the stories are completely separate and terribly linear. Proclaim the next season the last one and make it moderately good while its not too late.

I think they could do a really awesome final season for this one if they do it soon. They can bring back most if not all of the regulars for at least extended guest arcs. They already are kind of doing that this season with Paul, Zach, etc.

Yeah, so far the show crashed and burned after the riot episode, I hope it recovers on the final episodes.

Just watched the last episode and FINALLY a good one.

I loved the way Carlos found out and how the episode ended.

Seriously, the whole setup of how Carlos found out was retarded. And that's putting it mildly.

Srsly you dont like anything that doesnt come out of Gaga's pussy.

I liked the scene and the whole set up, it reminded me of the hability DH has to change from comedy to drama in a matter of seconds.

LOL. It was like a kid from a kindergarten wrote the whole scene.

The two dumbwits come into the cabin and see a shovel with some dirt on and immediately assume Carlos killed and buried Andrew???? Even though Carlos is totally cool and not nearly in a post-killing mindset. Then they splatter everything out and Andrew appropriately comes in just in time to stop absolutely nothing. Then when Carlos gets mad, a ranger comes in and says that no one can go anywhere because a tree fell and it's blocking the road... ROLF. It was soooooooo fucking stupid, something DH is very prone to recently.

Also your XTina fixation is worrisome.

This season has been picking up steam. I think next season will be the last, because A LOT of characters from the first season have been returning to have their storylines wrapped up.

I say announce an end date with a season 8 renewal and tie up all loose ends in the last year - with one final mystery pertaining towards Mary Alice. I see at least one of the four leads dying by series' end too.

Well I liked how the story between Gaby and Bree turned out in the latest episode. Andrew is conveniently out of the picture again. I guess in two weeks he did more than in the last two season though.

I really don't like where Felicia is going. It's an annoying story, people know she's crazy and McKlusky usually isn't the one that believes everything people say.

lol, and it continues Lynette and Susan keep having useless storylines while Bree and Gabby carry the show.

And it's nice to see this having good episodes .

Good episode, I can't believe they will break Lynette and Tom apart, Susan finally had a good scene (the final one) while Bree is.... somewhere and I can see Gabby's storyline a mile away.

That Freddy-like guy has to be her father, the preview confirmed it for me. It's a bad sign that I can figure it out from watching the preview.

Blah episode. Can someone kill Lynette please? She annoyed me more in these past two episodes than in all episodes that came before together. Such a bitch...

I'm going to assume the creepy man lurking outside Gaby's house/Ugly Betty's dad (does ABC know there are other Hispanic actors?) is Gaby's molester stepfather. Skeevy. Also, the ending made Juanita's "nightmares" about the man in the yard (which were clearly not nightmares) really creepy in retrospect.

Also, I actually felt bad for Susan when she got arrested. lol she has been so irritating all season but they actually managed to make me feel sympathy for her. Although I don't understand why she didn't blurt out "omg Felicia poisoned the food!" before she ran off. Dumb.

Lynette has always been a harpy shrew (I mean, 7 seasons without fail) but she's really been pushing the limits the last few episodes. Although I did like the dramatic heft of her arguments with Tom. Mostly because Felicity Huffman is an outstanding actress who forces you to like her character against all odds, since she's basically a terrible person.

And Bree actually has good chemistry with the cop (more than she ever had with Brian Austin Green, obvi).

The last few episodes have been quite good. I just wish they would give Vanessa Williams something to do.

By Season 7 standards, this was a good episode. But yeah why couldnt Susan blurt out that Felicia poisoned the food. Lynette is as unlikeable as ever. Go Tom!

I can't believe they're breaking Lynette and Tom up, they always seemed to be the perfect marriage on the show.

The first hour was shit, no1currs what happened.

But on the second hour:

Bree and her boyfriend had a great comic scene and it was the first time DH made laugh in a loooooooong time

Susan wasn't there most of the time, so that was great.

Lynette and Tom FINALLY break up, give Felicity Huffman an Emmy please.

Gabby... wow pretty intense scenes with her (waaaaaay too obvious) step-father.

AND THE FINAL MINUTES OF THE SHOW.... I didn't see that coming, they really blew my mind, that final scenes with the four of them it felt like season 1 all over again.

This show went full circle and the second hour of the finale is easily the best episode in at least 4 seasons.

I wouldnt mind if this isnt renewed, this works as a series finale in so many ways besides I think this is what Marc Cherry wanted as the final scene for his show.

Looking back, the final hour did feel like a series finale.

Eh, series finale? No. It didn't end on a big cliffhanger, that's for sure. Nothing that will make people go -oh I will definitely check this out next season to see where it goes, despite having one prominent character killing somebody and all four ladies covering for it. Though the setup definitely says -> "final season here we come!"...

The first hour was obviously a wrap up of this season's "mystery" and the second hour was a setup for next season. I just hope that they plotted it better than this one.

There were a few great moments, a few just OK ones and a few of really boring ones (Gaby's stepfather mumbled the reason why he came back, but I have no idea what he said so I don't really get why he was stalking her all of a sudden in such a desperate way).... Overall I guess it was a decent finale.
