I don't think he showed up in COK, at least I don't remember him.

Yeah it was great episode. They are sure making Theon into one of the most hated characters of the series.

The Theon story arc is just brilliant though isnt it?

Great episode. The fact that they are moving briskly through the book is a great thing. Sometimes its too quick, like Littlefinger and Catelyn crisscrossing the continent like they are visting neighbours across the street - but no complaint from me. They are also livening up Dany's story in the show as well which is good IMO.

Overall, great episode although I don't like how the whole Bran and Theon thing deviated alot from thebooks. It kind of ruins the introduction of the second most hated character in the books behind Joffrey when Rodrik wasnt supposed to be killed by Theon but that particular character. Still Im hoping they pull that one out because its supposed to be a very clever twist
Spoiler: show
Ramsey disguised as Reek and being sent to bring 5k men

Dinklage must win best supporting actor again this year. Hes got alot of material to submit and should write himself as lead character. Best line from this episode

"We have vicious kings. we had idiot kings. But I dont know if we had ever been cursed with a vicious idiot as a king!"

Spoiler: show
They are probably going to introduce Ramsey in another way. He might also not appear until season 3. He was hinted at in the episode by his father so we will see him. I would also argue that Ramsey makes Joffrey look like a boy scout. I mean he flays people alive, rapes women and then does horrible things to them.

I wonder if HBO will considering changing their policies on content based on these numbers.

If GOT was on just basic cable, I think it would smash even Walking Dead numbers. Everyone watches it; just not on HBO.

They should put it on Itunes if nothing else. I am sure there must a solution that would work.

I still think those who illegally downloaded the shows should pay for the show in the future through dvd/bluray sales. It only helps and rewards the show so that they can have a much bigger budget to pull off the huge battle scenes. Currently, they cut alot of thing because the show is already expensive as it is. The pirates are one of the reasons why the show hasnt beaten True Blood in ratings right now

Thats the reason why it hasnt beaten TRue Blood in ratings even though they are both premium cable shows. Young male adults are more likely to be penny pinchers and illegally download than women. I'm very certain that more than half of the GOT viewers that pay for the show are women

I think it beats true blood when you add in on demand/HBO Go and all of the other showtimes. It is avg 10-11 million an episode when you include those numbers. And I see true blood's ratings going down this season. Most fans were very disappointed in last season. Hell the last three seasons have been sucking it since Goddrick's death.

I am going to have to find another way to get the show myself after this sunday's episode. I am starting a job next week in Boston and probably won't HBO for a while. I don't like downloading it but I am not waiting to watch the last 3-4 episodes. Of course, I will buy the blue ray when it comes out so HBO is getting my money.

I bought the Complete First Season yesterday. :D Game of Thrones is the first TV series (minus anime) I've watch regularly since Merlin.

Does any of the special features, including commentary, contain spoilers?

Only spoilers related to season 1. They do reveal some details about the houses but nothing that spoils future books.

Lol great episonde...

I have to give the award to biggest jackass to...
Theon...

Lol take Winterfell lol.

I am quite sure the North will want to burn the Iron Islands to the ground now.

This show is going too dark now, if no good character gets some sort of glory or a victory....
Most likley something positive will happen to the "good characters on the show"

Also this show does a good job at making you feel sorry for bad people. You felt sorry for Cersei and even Sr Lannister looks like a nice guy.

lol Theon is such a prick
Spoiler: show
in the next few episodes it will be great to see his comeuppance. And lol it was funny to hear him say that he does want to look like a fool and eunuch around Winterfall, especially when he becomes both by DWD
.

The show needs some sword fights again.

Last season had some epic battles.
This season is less of one on one more like army vs army.

Stark Vs Jammie
Ser Jorah vs Dorthraki
Khal Drago fights
Tyrion friend vs the Knight

Dare I say... I actually liked Cersei this episode.

I've always found Qarth fascinating since it was introduced, and this episode has me really interested in future events there.

I dont think Im too happy with the changes to the Bran and Theon story. They really are ruining a great swerve by not sticking with the book. Its a real shame because I liked book 2 more than book 1

You mean the Reeds? I am guessing they will appear in season 3.
