NBC comedies won't air tomorrow so possible ratings uptick?

 Re: HAPPY ENDINGS
Happy Endings has become the new Arrested Development. I can barely keep up with the joke-a-second format.
Funniest show on TV.

#don'tfuckwithussandy Is this for sure? I hope so. Would love to see if these do any better without them.

Tonight's episode was hilarious! Better than the premiere. I loved Jane and Penny at the car dealership. Eliza Coupe is a comic genius!

 Re: HAPPY ENDINGS
Another fantastic episode tonight! The first third of tonight was just perfect particularly with Dave as LaToya, Penny going through the glass window, and the PINATA.
Also, "Shia LaBeouf-ing" it

Any news on the ratings?
BTW...I hate that Happy Endings and New Girl are on at the same time.

 Re: HAPPY ENDINGS
Not the funniest episode of ever last night but I certainly enjoyed myself.
Casey Wilson was the MVP of this episode. "CCH Pounder!" "F. Murray Abraham!" Plus her crashing through the glass/plastic.
"Here's my counter. No one should ever leave the house without their ideal salary written on a folded piece of paper."
Oddly, Happy Endings is starting to remind me of a wacky hybrid of Friends and Seinfeld. It has the ensemble group dynamic of the former but is essentially a show about nothing like the latter.

 Re: HAPPY ENDINGS
Not to be SUPER creepy... but I told my brother last week that Happy Endings reminded me of a Friends/Seinfeld combo.
Also, Dave as Latoya was one of my favorite moments ever.

The ending with Eliza and Rob was really funny too. God I love Eliza! She is brilliant on this show.

The amazing thing about Happy Endings is that there's really no weak link in the cast, which seems pretty rare nowadays in a group-based comedy (Howard in Big Bang Theory, Winston in New Girl).

"Check out where she's sitting... your cockpit"
"HAHA You fools, that only makes me stronger"
The weakest episode in a while still laughed more than I do in other comedies.

 Re: HAPPY ENDINGS
I kind of want them to break Alex and Dave apart again. Their characters both became much more wacky and insane playing off the other four, and their humor is a bit stunted when together now. But there was still some great moments for them last night.
Alex: "Where we're going, we don't need clothes...actually, where we're going we're gonna need a lot of clothes because it's overrun by Asian tiger mosquitoes. But the point is we'll be together!"
Jane: "I'm gonna need to see your license, registration, and proof of penis." Brad: "This is outrageous! I'm writing down your vag number."
"It's time to put down that challah and get ready to holla!"

 Re: HAPPY ENDINGS
I thought last night's episode was hilarious. I loved Penny taking the photos of herself for the kid's "brother" as well as her scene in the closet And Jane was amazing as usual.
