Why was Haley in the bottom 3 again?
But thankfully Stefano is gone. Jacob next please!

Re: American Idol: 2011 (Season 10)
Haley is adorable. Loved Ryan's reveal to her that she was safe, even if it had to come from the bottom three scenario.
If Jacob goes next, I'll be content with the final five. Yeah, I would love to see Haley win or make the final two, but I know it's a pipe dream.

I don't like Jacob's style, but I liked how much energy he put into his first performance tonight.
I really liked Lauren's performance.

Wow, James was awesome. Maybe he can challenge Scotty in the final.

Re: American Idol: 2011 (Season 10)
I was only able to catch half of the show since I forgot (ya...forgot) that AI was on today. I don't think I missed much because these songs they are performing are just unknown to me. I know a couple of Carole King's songs but this last song Haley did was like just ridiculous.
I'm watching this duet of James and Jacob and it's sick. I don't like it. I'm so over...I've been over Jacob's "yeah yeah yeahs" and his swaying his f'ing hips. It's just all sick.
These judges are so boring for the most part. Everyone nails everything. Everyone has a wonderful voice and does everything great. It's just hard to even listen to.
They just recapped 3 performances I missed from the beginning and those songs were just boring. Oh, now I'm seeing Casey and his growling. Enough of it.
I want Scotty to win so I can quit watching AI for good. I so hope he wins. I hate his singing but this will be my nail if he wins. Please.
I think I can understand now how a youtube AI commentator quit making videos a couple weeks ago. She can't take this season anymore and I'm almost to that same point. If these people keep picking songs that are junk I don't know.

Re: American Idol: 2011 (Season 10)
This is going to be a weird vote. The only two I'm sure are safe are Scotty and James. After that it's tough to pick. This is how I think the rank in vote will go tonight...
1. Scotty
2. James
3. Lauren (she could easily slip to the boot, I'm just not sure her performance was enough. She needs a WOW performance). 4. Casey (I'm scared for him tonight because I think his performance will go way over the heads of most of the audience, though I really enjoyed it) 5. Haley (she doesn't have the same range, but her singing kind of reminds me of Mariah.) 6. Jacob (If he gets a big enough bottom 2 boost from last week, Haley or Casey could get the boot. I would hate that.)

I fucking love Haley.
Who'd thunk she'll be top 6 AND end up being one of the better singers after her epic fail Whitney Houston performance from the early weeks??

Its pretty much a lock for Jacob to go home, sucks for him. Haley and Casey were just to great to get eliminated. Please Jacob (or Scotty, i dont mind) go HOME!

Her semi-final performance (Falling) blew chunks too, and I was upset that she'd made it into the top 12. The first few weeks I kept thinking she was terrible, but then she just swung it around and became totally awesome. I don't even know how that happened, but I'm glad it did. I've been very fond of her for weeks now.

Hmm. The way Seacrest said "a lot of fans are going to be upset tonight" makes me think it will be Casey. Really, it could be anyone but Scotty or James.

Re: American Idol: 2011 (Season 10)
OK I really haven't been following this season other than reading recaps on TWoP and stuff (I haven't seen more than 30 minutes of the actual show this season), but I just listened to some of Haley's studio recordings (since she sang Rolling in the Deep last week, which I'm obsessed with) and she's really good. She'd probs be my favorite if I was watching.

Well... Jacob not even in the bottom 2 was kind of surprising. I really wasn't expecting Casey to go home. Im just glad Haley and James were safe. w00t w00t!

More like a "You're safe, you're not, you're safe" kind of deal where it wasn't explicitly stated that there was a bottom-anything. I wouldn't be surprised if they approached it this way to give Scotty an extra boost.

I'm quite sure Scotty had the most votes. Why they did it that way, I don't know. So who will get Casey's votes? I think they'll be split by Haley and James. I can't see Casey's fans voting for Jacob, Scotty, or Lauren.

Re: American Idol: 2011 (Season 10)
Haley in the Top 5 WOO! I just recently discovered their iTunes stuff. Had no idea that they do full songs. Love her Bennie and the Jets and Rollin' in the Deep, and her duet with Casey this week.
I think this pretty much proves the Judges' Save is a waste of time, no? No one has survived after being voted off once. It just prolongs the inevitable. Its only benefit is a double elimination the following week.
