Of the shows I watch, I'd say Arrested Development and Lost are technically the finest.

Having just seen the Lost recap show again and the preview for the finale.
I am so looking forward to LOST.

I'd say my list, at the moment, now goes something like this (#1-4 are pretty much neck-and-neck):
1. Scrubs
2. Arrested Development
3. Alias
4. Six Feet Under
5. The Daily Show
6. The Amazing Race
7. Lost
8. ER
9. Family Guy
10. Huff

For me, among those choices, the clear winner is LOST.
I'm also a big fan of Survivor and TAR. And yes, I like Desperate Housewives, even though it is overrated.
But there are other shows, not on that list. I'd hold Battlestar Galactica up to any of those. And The 4400 is a guilty pleasure/cheesy fun. (How can you go wrong with assassinated billionaires rising from the dead? And little girls who can see the future?) Heh.
Oh, and the Daily Show also rocks. I can't watch news anymore, unless it's fake.

After a while threads like these become pointless because the TV watching and posting group within the forum is so small that we all know what everybody else watches.

24 is the best! Rescue Me, Entourage and Scrubs would follow.

No cable right now as when I moved I didn't get it set up to try to watch less tv.
But, to mention one, you have got me to watch more Scrubs.
