Oh, and prediction: the Shawn Hatosy character will be seen again, perhaps as an antagonist. Despite the beating he received, they seemed to play coy regarding whether he died or not.

Kind of hard for me to believe that facility got overrun but I guess if there were thousands of living dead in the stadium it must be plausible. I liked the escape it was intense. I was glued to the screen. A bummer was the doctor just being spaced out and giving up. That was a shame. The group didn't think to raid the medicine before they skipped town. I don't see the point of going to the black guys lovely home. Glass windows everywhere. I can't remember if there was supposed to be a boat they were going to. Too bad this was only 8 episodes I think. I'm already wanting more.

They specifically pointed out the boat. And it was 6 episodes.

Yes, they should've grabbed medicine on their way out.

Also, the finale was fantastic, imo.

I believe they show Kim Dickens' character scouring the medical center's medicine cabinet.

Post Re: Fear the Walking Dead (Season 1)
I'm conflicted as always on Season 1. The first three episodes were, more or less, fantastic, but I felt the ball was so dropped on episodes 4 and 5 that I ended up a little mixed on the finale. It was strong, but I have this fear (no pun intended) that the show is just going down the same path as TWD. I don't need another TWD. That fills the void very well.

But I like some of the characters present. I really like the kids on the show. I'm usually not high on kids on these type shows (and I guess the "kids" are in their 20s in real life), but like Beth on TWD, I like seeing someone who is more vulnerable. Maybe I see myself in them. I'd love to be a Rick Grimes, but I can't help thinking I wouldn't be so strong and vigilant.

And unlike TWD, which I feel has some strong supporting female characters that are often overshadowed by the leading male stars, I like that the lead character here is Kim Dickens' Madison. I can take or leave the Action Star Liam Neeson wannabe Cliff Curtis (does he have more than one facial expression?).

So... there you have it. I'll of course keep watching next season, but I really hope they take the show in a good direction.

And please... I know it's inevitable... but no TWD crossovers. I don't see the present day characters interacting, but I feel like at some point someone will show up, possibly someone who has since passed on from TWD.
