Re: The Walking Dead (Season 5)
I think the premiere established that Our Heroes are not really heroes at all. At the very least, Rick isn't.
I wonder how far into the future that Morgan Jones clip takes place.

Oh well. 24 season 5 is tough to beat in that category. I remember watching that with a group in college. People lost their shit. I only just watched the whole series about a month ago. Very good start.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 5)
I hope the writing stays stellar this season. I feel like the writers learned a lesson. Season 3 writers would have spent at least half a season at Terminus.

Pretty sick thing to do. I guess now we actually have The Hunters from the comics. Peeps are gonna die.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 5)
Ok so... I'm assuming them showing Morgan last week was days/weeks/months into the future? Or is he close behind?
Also, who the hell was making the X's on the trees? Was it the cannibals? Or was it Bob for some reason?
I have no idea.

The Cannibals saved Bob by eating his infected leg.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 5)
I would assume Rick kills The Hunters on the mid-season finale.
Also, was Bob actually infected? I mean, that walker had to have done SOMETHING to him under the water. But I don't think eating an infected leg will do anything, as everyone is already infected anyway.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 5)
Another thought... Could Bob have once been a member of Terminus? Is that even a remote possibility?

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 5)
The church scene from when the Terminus guys walked in, to them getting slaughtered... was one of the best scenes this show has ever done.
Absolutely brilliant.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 5)
This is a great season so far in general. The conflicts and zombie encounters are intense. The emotional beats are interesting and poignant. There is an overarching sense of danger and mystery.

Ok so I'm not the only one that noticed this. Did she ever once even ask if anyone saw what happened to her when they all fled from the prison?

In the season premiere, you can hear Daryl describing the car she was taken in - but it never shows who or how many people he was talking to.

A lot of 'meh' parts last night... but a great ending. And some subtle great moments.

It was a pretty lame episode until Beth and Noah's escape attempt.

Loved his flashbacks, and how going on this mission is really the only reason Abraham is alive. Should he be thankful?

They made Eugene from being the most likable character in the show to the biggest douche.

Well... He pretty much kinda is. A smart guy that's using his biggest resource to his advantage. I'd keep him around... but I wouldn't necessarily protect him anymore.
