The direction was terrible, not that I'm surprised. Rob Ashford (or who I like to call Rob Hackford) is awful. He destroyed How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and Promises, Promises on Broadway in the past few years.

I enjoyed it but it was probably mainly for the nostalgia of listening to the great music and the singing.
