Re: The Good Wife | Season 2
I'm thinking Peter wins the election and Cray works with him.
If Archie was a dark horse last year, this year she is definitely a front runner. She had many great scenes. And which bitch beat Julianna last year? She is seriously amazing.

?
It was such a quiet episode. I expected a huuuuge blow out. I'm guessing they're keeping that for the finale.
But I liked the case this week. They've made us accustomed to Kalinda and Alicia finding out the whatever they're after that the twist was really nice this week. And it was creepy how that guy fancied Alicia. I would love to hear the song inspired by her though.

OMG. Alicia finds out the secret just as Peter wins the election (because of her!). Perfect.
Her walking down the hallway and then starting to cry was devastating. I sense Julianna Margulies' Emmy tape is going to come from one of the three remaining episodes of the season.

Don't they send two episodes for a drama show? I think this one would be perfect. In the opening scene I really believed she was having a hectic morning when she said it one minute into the show. And that last scene... OMG. If another Emmy fart like Kyra happens to Julianna - ugh, I won't even think about it. There's no one even close to her, she has been perfect all the season. The episode was a bit wonky. I liked it, but Chavez? Really? I was WTF all the time when he was supposedly on TV. The rest of it was wonderful though. I liked America Ferrara on this show. Too bad she's going away now apparently... I still hate, hate, hate that DA investigator. Such a bad character. I'm hoping he ends up dead in the last episode. It's a two week hiatus next and then then last three episodes in the following two weeks (2 hour season finale!!!!! - that one will probably be so awesome, the writers really know how to plot this thing...).

Re: The Good Wife | Season 2
I HOPE!!!!!
But really, if they really want some syndication deal, they have to renew it for two seasons (a total of 88 episodes after four seasons - the new syndication benchmark it seems).
How much money The Good Wife is worth (since the stupid 18-49 audience seems to be abandoning this) is still something to watch.
BUT STILL DEAR GOD RENEW THE GOOD WIFE@!!

Re: The Good Wife | Season 2
Julianna Margulies killed every single scene in tonight's episode. Both scenes with Peter. Blasting music and getting dressed. Standing up to Jackie/Lady Macbeth. And the scene telling the kids about the split. So good.
The whole Peter/Cary storyline that seems to be cooking up is yet another dynamic element. Can't wait to see what happens.
I love Martha Plimpton in her guest appearances, although a part of me couldn't help but see her as her Raising Hope character.
Also, the preview for next week with Kalinda breaking down: omg. KALINDA. EMOTION. Shit's getting real.

Re: The Good Wife | Season 2
It should surprise no one that last night's episode was stupendous.
All the scenes between Alicia and Kalinda were electrifying. omg.
And I laugh so much whenever Alicia confronts Jackie. lol
Sarah Silverman was (surprisingly) really effective in a dramatic role, and Mamie Gummer's Nancy Crozier cracks me up every time she appears.
Can't wait for the finale. And yes, I do think this show has a very good chance of winning the Best Drama Emmy.

Re: The Good Wife | Season 2
And in the least shocking development in history, the season finale was outstanding. No big cliffhangers or melodramatic moments, just lots of good stuff.
And that last scene! I'm totally on board the Alicia/Will ship, so you can imagine I loved this.
So, so, so, so, SO happy this was renewed, even if in a different time period. The best drama series on network television, and I'm really rooting for several Emmy wins this year.

Re: The Good Wife | Season 2
Great finale. I was waiting for a big cliffhanger, but there was none. Instead the show offered something I wasn't expecting to see at all. Will. And. Alicia! Shock. The elevator scene was brilliant. I loved the little seeds that have been set for the next season throughout this episode. This show mastered turning seemingly small details into huge and important plot points. Also, Julianna should've won last year and she, again, has plenty of tapes to choose from. Archie Panjabi could repeat. And if it were up to me, Christine Baranski, Josh Charles, Alan Cumming and Matt Czuchry would ALL get nominations.

I'm up to episode 9 of the second season and it's AMAZING thus far. This season has been addictive and a big improvement over the first. All the acting is fantastic.
