Paul McDonald - Why is this guy still in the competition? He hasn't had a single worth performance yet. Annoying voice, irritating smile, drunken moves... Ugh... At least he's the first one. By the time this ends I'll forget about him.

Lauren Alaina - Why do people pick this dumb song? It's baaaaaaad. And there's no one than can make it work. Lauren I love you, but this was a miss.

Stefano Langone - Oh my... What a bad night so far. I just don't understand how he got this far. He's always too shouty and messy. Judges all need hearing aid next season.

Scotty McCreery - He's getting creepier every time. His head leans more and more every time, I feel like eventually his neck is going to crack. Also Paul McDonald steps? Is that a thing now? Should I start walking like that too??? Will I be cool? He sang well.

Casey Abrams - Ummmm, OK? I guess. J.Lo why wouldn't he win a contest with Nature Boy? It's a fucking great song. Have you even heard your albums? You'd kill for a Nature Boy.

Haley Reinhart - Awesome song choice. Bad at parts, great at other. Just good overall I guess.

Bitch Lust - Yawn. Boring.

James Durbin - I love this guy. Never disappoints...

Considering that neither of the remaining females were better than average, I think we could see another female elimination. But I'd love to see my bottom 3 be the real bottom 3. Those really need to go and fast.

Paul McDonald broke the cardinal rule of Idol: don't be way different. Being a little different is good. It usually means you'll be the runner-up. But being an oddball on top of being different just means you're in for disappointment.

Scotty: he is what he is. He's safe even though he went first.
Judges were right though, that was a little too safe.

James: That was fun. What I like most about him is that he always pushes himself. This was a success, but I have a bad feeling one of these times he's going to mess up and go too far overboard. I hope not though, because I probably look forward to his performances more than any other still on the show.

Haley: I LOVE that song, and she did a great job with it.

Jacob: I am not a fan of his. That said, regardless of what the judges said, I liked this more than his other performances.

Casey: LOVED IT! These past two weeks he has really won me over.
Poor Stefano. He has to follow that.

Stefano: Mediocre song choice and performance, that unfortunately for him follows Casey kissing J-Lo and Steven Tyler swearing up a storm. The girls love him, but do they love him enough on a tough night like tonight?

Lauren: Great performance. She's one of my favorites.

Stefano needs to shut up and go home. He came up a bit arrogant with that performance, IMO.

I'm pretty sure Haley ain't going anywhere as she just help Adele take #1 from Lady Gaga on iTunes.

It would be a crime if Haley even hits the bottom 3 after that performance, I thought she did great. Adele is like, my favourite person in the world right now, but while I generally don't like it when songs from artists I adore are done on a show like this, I really enjoyed Haley's take on it. Sure, she went a bit flat/off the rails once or twice, but she infused a very current song with something of herself, put her own spin on it a bit and it worked for me.

I'm just not as excited anymore after Pia left, but I still catch the performances. The judges really aren't worth listening to since they "love" every performance or something about everything and Tyler is so short with his opinion.

For last night's show, I enjoyed Durbin and Haley. Everyone else was average for me. Lauren is singing terrible songs/not performing them well. Jacob is just too much for me. Scotty is too country for me. Casey is too fringe for me. Stefano is just middle of the road for me. He can sing but not well enough for me to like it.

I hope Casey, Scotty or Jacob has the least amount of votes.

James Durbin - A bit Adam Lambert-ish with the styling and all the vocal stuff but I loved it.

Haley Reinhart - Nice. Bit shouty at parts, but considering that I don't find Adele that good, I thought this was even better than what Adele offers...

Casey Abrams - I love Harder to Breath... Casey did good with it.

Stefano Langone - I still don't realize why shouting is considered singing in some cases? I'm so tired of repeating myself with Stefano.

Yes! Haley is sent back to safety after a brief appearance in the bottom 3.

I don't really care if it's Jacob or Stefano leaving. They are my least favorite two and I hope the other gets the boot next week.
