I'm going to be a hot mess this season.

Also... I still hate Julia with the passion of a thousand suns. Joel is too good for her.

This was a great Adam/Kristina episode. Looks like they're saving up all the tears for next week.

Also, this show makes me not want a daughter. SYDNEY.

Also... They're really painting Joel as the bad guy?! Screw that. Julia sucks.

Sydney is the. worst. And has been for years. Ugh.

Great episode though. Mae Whitman was perfect in it.

I loved last night's episode! I was almost in tears last night when Amber told
Spoiler: show
Ryan that he wasn't ready to be a dad. With him being a mess, I could understand why she made that decision
but the most sad part was Zeek being in the hospital for surgery.

Very good episode. I was about to be extremely pissed off at Amber staying in Wyoming. (WHAT IS WITH THIS SHOW AND DRIVING TO PLACES IN UNREASONABLE AMOUNTS OF TIME?!)

Glad Drew stepped in and told her what she needed to hear. Bravo, Drew!

Drew was actually relevant this week. In fact, I haven't seen Drew this relevant in a very long time. Next week's promos finally have Max have his first crush on a girl.

Last night's episode was heartbreaking.

Also, the storyline with Ray Romano's daughter is boring even though I love Betsy Brandt. Why am I supposed to care? The daughter is awful.

Every time the daughter was freaking out, I was laughing. Glad I wasn't the one who thought of that.

I don't like all this Crosby foreshadowing. Could they throw us for a loop and end up killing him off? I hope not :(

Amber certainly made Ruby happy for the first time in so long in last night's episode.

Drew was my favorite especially when he chose his major so he can graduate and be successful. Also, it's good that a person is finally tolerating Max after all of those years.

He's growing up a lot. I saw next week's promo and I'm glad I took advantage of the BOGO deal by buying tissues and having a coupon for buying 2. In other words, I'm prepared to cry next week.

They have really nailed the financial issues that Crosby is going through. I know those feels, bro.

This episode taught me how to be grateful and don't take anything for granted.

Last nights episode was good.

I think Julia and Joel will eventually get back together. They will not end the series with them getting a divorce, however I think that they are paving the way for Hank and his wife to reunite.

I am dreading the Hank storyline. NO, Hank. STOP. GIVE LAUREN GRAHAM A HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP, DAMNIT.

Also, as much as I despise Julia, that ending was very emotional. Next week looks rough.

Agreed. Do you think they will have Sarah end up with Mark? I can see the idea, but with her and Hank being so "serious" in their relationship it would seem weird to have Mark and Sarah get together (especially) when there is only 13 episodes?

I have no idea what they're doing with Sarah. I can only hope that Hank stays with her.

Mark > Hank. Always.

I'm sick of Ruby screaming every other episode though she's getting a bit more tolerable. Max drove me nuts in this episode though.

LOVED the Julia/Joel stuff. It made me cry - Sam Jaeger was fantastic in this episode, particularly in the scene with Zeke.

I loved Mark, but Sarah never seemed like she was fully into that relationship. Now she finally seems like she's all in with Hank.

And yes, Jaeger was exceptional.

This week's episode was definitely not my favorite but next week looks much better but also sadder especially with Zeek. I also hope Joel and Julia get back together.

I don't understand why Kristina was telling Max how brave he was when he was being such a little bratty asshole and his collage was weird :P

Also, I don't understand why we're getting episodes with Hank/Ruby having a solo storyline without Sarah when they aren't even series regulars.

I'm enjoying this season a lot thus far but the cast member episode reduction that came with even getting a final season is blatantly obvious. If Sarah knew Amber was in the hospital for any reason she would have been there in a second, not "in Napa." Believe me, I'm just nitpicking here because I am overjoyed that we got a final season in the first place and it's ultimately been great. But I was forever traumatized by the atrocious "Brothers & Sisters" final year that went through similar cast issues and don't want this show to go down that path ;)

I agree with every word you just said in that post.
