Re: Renewed, Cancelled or Hiatus Bound: 2012-2013 Edition
Yeah but they're keeping it behind the Voice when it comes back. It's a waste of (1) a new show that can probably breathe on its own (yuck) and (2) their best lead in, so, yeah, its stupid, but not stupid because its going to kill Revolution. Because it won't.

Re: Renewed, Cancelled or Hiatus Bound: 2012-2013 Edition
yoshue, Neighbors looks pretty stupid...not gonna lie. I have too many shows between Revenge, Parks, 30 Rock, Happy Endings, Don't Trust the B (kinda...), and Stewart/Colbert (and Mad Men/CURB, when on). Yes, I know that's like a tenth of what the rest of you watch.
Also haven't seen Homeland. Honestly, I'm sick of the TV-viewing community flocking over to a new 'buzz' drama (or serial? does that apply?) every season. It's been happening since Mad Men...first Breaking Bad, then Downton Abbey (ish), now Homeland. I can't count the number of people I know who have toted the "For real this time, if there's only one show you watch, watch this one" line multiple times. Sure there's lots of decent TV out there -- but getting hooked on a particular show doesn't make it 'better' than the norm. That's the objective of TV.
For the record, New Girl and Cougartown suck...and I don't trust Libs -- she's made a couple recs, but I don't understand how she -- a tv junkie -- hasn't found time to check out vintage 30 Rock. Say what you will about the show now.

Didn't you just post saying that you wanted GCB back and now you trash Homeland?
Non sense

Non sense News to me that I trashed Homeland. My only point: engaging media is not necessarily 'superior' -- and the 'chosen-drama-of-the-year' bandwagon is silly

You basically said Homeland can't be as good as people say without even seeing it. That's trashing it.

NBC just knows Revolution can't survive without a strong lead-in (The Voice that is).

Re: Renewed, Cancelled or Hiatus Bound: 2012-2013 Edition
"The Goodwin Games" has had its order cut from 13 episodes to 7 episodes. http://insidetv.ew.com/2012/11/02/goodw ... s-reduced/This sucks! This was one of the best comedy pilots of the season. Though I do love "Ben & Kate" and "Mindy" so I can't be too upset as it's attributed to their additional episode orders.

"Political Animals" will not be getting a second season. However, since it was billed initially as a miniseries, I guess you can't officially say it was cancelled. http://tvline.com/2012/11/02/political- ... a-network/

I hate the casting in that show. The guy from Better With You annoys the hell out of me. Also the premise feels even more limited than HIMYM. But I'd give it a shot because of Becki. I love her.

I still have to finish this. Now James Wolk can return to Happy Endings.

All I see with Fairly Legal and Common Law is: two down. Hopefully the 7th season of Psych won't be its last.
