So do you guys think we should have speeches and such for the categories or have them revealed one by one quickly??

I don't know what you mean, but just copy and paste all the nominees in a PM to me, and pick one winner from each category.
As for speeches, if you guys want to volunteer to do speeches, you can. Otherwise, I don't mind writing the speeches myself if that's what you want. If you just want the winners, that's okay too. The award ceremony date hasn't been decided yet, so any last minute people can still send votes.

Anyone else? The date has not been set obviously, so any more votes are welcome.

So... yeah! I can whip up speeches pretty good. If I spent my time tomorrow doing that, I imagine I'd have 'em all done. If anyone wants to help, I'll be more than happy to take any help I can get. But, if not, I don't mind working on the speeches myself. And, anyone set on a date? I don't think we'll be ready for tomorrow night. Any other night where everyone who voted could be here? Or most people at least?

I'd like to help with some speeches. Just send whichever ones you want, whether 1 or 10 to my PM.
As for the date, I think we should set it at Tuesday or Wednesday maybe around 10:30pm eastern, which makes 7:30 pacific. But it's all up to you guys, I'm just throwing out suggestions cuz I know how long these things can take to be decided.

I don't think we need speeches, but you can certainly do them, it's just that you shouldn't have to go through any extra work. You'll be doing a lot already and already have done enough. I'd be fine with just the winners.

Can that be any earlier? There are some Euro boys and girls around here too

Yeah, even for me that's a little late. A tad sooner might be better.
As for speeches, if you guys don't want speeches, that's okay. But, I can whip up the speeches for the big night if people were here for it. Raffiki, if you want to help, you can, but I'm not asking anyone to help. I don't mind.
And... yeah. Speeches or no speeches?

So, now I got 36 votes total. Wow! So, we're still deciding on awards date, the style (speeches or no speeches), and what-not, so all last minute votes are indeed welcome! Still some close races, with one vote separating some, so if you haven't voted, do it!

In response to my suggested time....
I don't mind an earlier time at all. We can do it around 8 eastern, which translates to 5 pacific and I don't know what in Euro... we can do it at noon... it doesn't matter!
And for the speeches... if we're not gonna have a big audience anyway and no one is too excited for it... let's just ax 'em and have the winners revealed one by one!

Sounds good, Raffiki. I appreciate the help you offered, but I guess you're right. They're probably won't be a lot of people here to read the speeches, and the people who come afterwards just will want the winners anyway.
So, I guess that brings us to the date. Any good day for everyone, and a good time? Shoot some days and times out there, I'm here every night, so any night is good.

You could draft Michael to write short speeches by people like Hillary Duff, Madonna, Cameron Diaz. I'll probably regret suggesting that.

Whoopsie daisies. Let's decide on a date, seeing as how I think I have all the votes now.

Not soon atall. I was hoping it would be today or tomorrow, but Friday sounds good as well.
I'm actually thinking my daily schedule might be getting filled up, so all the more reason not to make a big event out of it, unless there is a pressing audience for it.
Let's just get it on and out!

Alright if no one else is going to get this moving, I'll just decide a date and if no one protests, that is when it will be.
Friday, July 29th... 4:00pm Pacific (7pm Eastern).
So unless that time doesn't work out for Mr. X, I think we have ourselves a date!

Good, Raffiki! I thought I posted here, but I guess I didn't. Tomorrow is great. Will I do just one big reveal of the winners, or category by category every few minutes?

It's up to you... if there aren't that many posters on, then just do it all at once... or in bunches!
