Forgot to post this but since I saw it on the Emmy thread.

I voted for him and was surprised he wasn't nominated.

He got one vote in the ballots. From... umm... you, I assume.

I like Shatner in BL, but I think he occasionally overacts.

Spader is still awesome, though.

The academy is showing ALOT of love for those two.

Spader won BEST ACTOR last year. I mean, what a surprise.
Shatner winning guest actor wasn't too surprising since The Practice has a knack for that category.

And now they're both nominated again. I'm surprised that the show itself didn't get at least a techie nod.

19 votes right now, excluding mine. There are only two or three categories with winners likely determined already, but the rest are close enough that if three or four people voted for the show not winning in the votes, there could be some changes. Keep voting, guys! There are plenty of close races (particularily Lead Actress in a Comedy).

So, Friday is the absolute deadline for voting. I hope more of you vote, because it would be greatly appreciated.

Whoa, three people voted while I was gone. So, up to 22 plus mine, which... simple math really... carry the 3... and... 23! 23 total so far, and it'd be nice to get some more, y'know. So... vote.

Some categories are STILL far too close with these new votes. Only about three or four categories look to have the leading nominee as the predicted winner. I want you guys to seriously vote this week! All those who say "Meh". No... no meh. VOTE!

Thank you, Archie. I'll leave your ballot in my PM box, so don't think I missed it. I won't open it till tomorrow when I have time to add it to the votes.

I know you people are probably sick of me being so excited, but there are SOOOOO many close votes in quite a few categories, I can't believe it. It's really exciting. Thanks to you guys, I currently have 26 votes!! So, mine will make 27, and I hope to get a few more before Friday. The Lead Actress in a Comedy in particular is close. FOUR (yes, FOUR!) people are close enough to win. Two votes separate first and fourth, that's how close it is, with the other two in between. I hate posting this so much, but I do want as many votes as possible!

Including my vote, we now have 30 votes in total! Wow! Quite impressive. Any more, please send them to me today because today is the final day!

I'm still contemplating writing up speeches and stuff for every category, or just presenting the winners and that's that. Not sure on that.

Post Re: The Excellence in TV Awards: DEADLINE TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mr. X wrote:
I was planning on releasing a fake nominee list, but you guys rock so much, I will not be going in that direction! No no, instead, I will present to you FINALLY the list of this year’s Excellence in Television nominees. There were two or three ties in total, and in some cases, I just let it go with seven and eight nominees. But, when I got to Guest Star (where 8 nominees was needed), I figured 15 nominees was a little much, so I made the final call on that one. Anyway, here are the FIRST TEN nomination categories with all nominees listed. In an hour, I will release the second part of the nomination list, and then you can vote from then until... well, we'll decide on a deadline.

Here they are!

Therefore, six more shows have been selected for voting. These were the six remaining shows with the most votes. It will be your job to vote for ONE winner amongst the six, to be added to the previous two automatic winners.
