This looks much more enjoyable than I expected. I will certainly check it out. And I love that it's set in the 80's. I hope it does well.

I loved Sex and the City and I like AnnaSophia Robb but I doubt I'll ever watch this. It all seems so unnecessary.

The pilot is a LOT better than you'd expect. It's really fun and well-made. I would definitely recommend it and plan on watching.

I would love to fuck AnnaSophia Robb.

I thought the pilot was great. Very charming and fun. It turned out better than I would have ever expected. Hopefully it's successful.

First ep was mediocre, gonna give it one more shot next wk but I don't think its my type of show.

I enjoyed it. It definitely has potential. I really enjoyed the narration and whenever Carrie talked about NYC.

Still it won't get it renewed due to iTunes placement.

If it stays steady I could see them renewing it because they obviously like the show and it does have a lot of potential. They could air the first season, then over the summer promote it and show the show in order, then give it another big push for season two in the fall.

Of course The CW won't do that because they're stupid.

They tried that with GG and 90210. Despite all the effort and all the badly named news press releases ("9021-0-M-G Ratings") these two shows were never hits being regularly beaten by old WB shows (Supernatural and OTH, heck last year's highest rated GG episode barely beat OTH's lowest rated one) and in previous seasons by old UPN leftover ANTM (before it completely caved in the ratings).

If The Carrie Diaries doesn't pick up considerably then CW would be dumb renewing it. Maybe 13 episode order as a placeholder show, but full season renewal no.

Gossip Girl was a hit by CW standards for a while. Season 2 did well.

"Gossip Girl" didn't really start tanking in the ratings until the middle of season 3 if I remember correctly.

Based on the pilot, this would actually pair much better with "Hart Of Dixie" if the tone stays the same. "90210" is much more outlandish and ridiculous. This has a sweeter, less cynical edge to it that would be a good fit with "HOD." Much better than "Cult" will be

Cult's Tuesday placement still makes no sense.

It's The CW.... Nothing they do make sense

Maybe it will end up like The Weinstein Company's strategies and be a smart plan after all?
