 The 'King of Queens' Season 8 Thread So this show isn't a must watch for me, but I seem to always be there when its on every week due to the rest of the Monday night CBS lineup. It has some funny parts, some not.
I think Doug is a really horrible character most of the time. But on the flip side, in my opinion, Carrie is the best female sitcom character on tv right now. The supporting cast also have their moments however cliched they are. I also like how the show is a bit more outfront than most on the air, they use lots of insulting and cursive lines. And there's no kids to clutter in the way. And by the way if anyone knows what season it is, I can edit it into the title. Anyways best part of tonight's show:
*talking about who doesn't like Carrie*
Doug: "What about that Michelle girl you work with?"
Carrie: "Well, Michelles a bitch."

This is season 8. I love the show. I even like Doug. He's not too likable but can be very, very funny ("Shutee"). I own the four seasons that are available on DVD and the episodes play well on repeat viewings.

i really LOVE the lack of kids on the show. a few seasons ago they were trying to get pregnant, and then they stopped so yay!
i love Carrie, she is such a bitch and its great. Arthur is such a crazy old man and i love it.

i love Carrie, she is such a bitch and its great. Arthur is such a crazy old man and i love it. Speaking of Arthur, where is he? It's odd that he lives in the house with the other two but sometimes isn't seen for more than one episode in a row.

i can't believe shows like this one makes it to year 8 and other funnier ones don't. WTF is wrong with this country.

I find Carrie annoying as hell, hate that whole attitude, but it works when you add Doug. I dont really watch the new seasons, just the re-runs on UPN, those are good the newer seasons are meh.

It's not deep, nor my favorite show of all time, but it's easy to watch and has its moments. I rarely catch it in primetime, though - I have the DVD sets and will catch it on reruns once in a while.
Arthur (Jerry Stiller) is by far my favorite character on the show.
