I'm glad that Law and Order: Criminal Intent is really thriving in repeats. It's such a great show (my favorite version of L&O) and the ratings were never that spectacular.

I really don't understand why Desperate Housewives does so bad in reruns!!!!
I mean, alot of the top rated shows in reruns now are individualized episodes, with plots that don't expand or arc more than that episode (Law and Order series, CSI series, Without a Trace) but still... I didn't watch the Housewives repeats for a while, but now I am and am getting addicted all over again. They're so delicious!!!

It's a serialized drama, which always repeat horribly. Look at The O.C. Although that show doesn't get the best ratings, the ratings for the repeats have been worse than repeats of sitcoms on UPN.

I know that and that's what I was trying to say in my first post. It's just that, just about every fresh episode it has had has ranked in the top 3 of that week. And the repeats have fallen below the top 30. I realizd it's a serialized drama and it's implications, I'm just surprised at its drastic drop!

I've always liked the original series more then any of the others. SVU is a close second though. Nothing beats the team of Jerry Orbach, Jesse Martin & Sam Waterson. That era of law & order is the best of any of the series.

You know he has a point; Desperate Housewives drop is way bigger than i remember Alias re-runs falling off before they syndicated them; and i know sitcoms perform better in reruns - but DH has comic value too.
