I started watching it.
Then 15 minutes into it I got a phone call from a friend and I couldn't concentrate. I caught the some of the last scenes too, but I dunno... it just didn't grab at me. I think I really like war in movies and maybe not every week.
Maybe I judged it too fast, I don't know. We'll see if I watch a repeat later on, but I wasn't in the mood to watch the repeat tonight!

Im in the same boat as Raffiki. The characters dont really grab me and I dont like them that well either. I guess Im just spoiled by Band of Brothers so that no other war series can grab me like that

I read a couple reviews that applauded the show's militaristic realism but panned its cookie-cutter characters.
I was interested, but I don't know. Probably not.
The pilot is available on DVD now, though, if anyone's interested.
