Bad news for fans of Tru Calling:

From TV Guide:
As if those crazy Tru Calling fans haven't suffered enough at the hands of Fox, the network has decided to pull the serial thriller off the air after this Thursday's episode — effectively cheating them out of seeing the show's sixth and final original installment. Adding insult to injury, Fox is replacing next week's Tru finale with The Simple Life: Interns! I'm beginning to think someone at Fox really hates Eliza Dushku.

Well it's better to be optimistic than pesimistic...

True. But, now I feel bad for my father. I got him hooked on the first season of Tru Calling on DVD, and he just finished Season 1, and now he's wondering when he'll see Season 2. Six episodes isn't much to get excited about, so he's upset, especially since the season finale has been canned... for THE SIMPLE LIFE, of all things.

This Saturday RTL Televizija in Croatia will show 'T'Was a Night Before Christmas... Again'... Can't wait... I hope they decide to air reruns after this... After 26 weeks, I don't think I can live without Tru Calling.

Today I finished last week's episode of TRU CALLING. I had taped it and just now watched it. It was excellent, but I'm so disappointed that they aren't airing anymore episodes. This was the fifth episode and they aren't airing the sixth because it's Christmas themed, and are instead airing episodes of THE SIMPLE LIFE: INTERNS in its place! It's not like the viewers of the show would not watch just because it's Christmas themed. I wish the WB or UPN had picked it up. It's such a good show. Fuckin' Fox and fuckin' O.C. ;). O.C. should have been canned, not TRU CALLING. The wrong one was the hit.

I just can't accept that this show is now gone forever and we won't get any new episodes! It's not fair! But it's true! There's no chance at all of more episodes. The show was officially cancelled already and the sets and stuff torn down. I doubt they'd rebuild it again.

Also, NOW Entertainment Weekly decides to give it a good rating. Last season they bashed it and gave it ratings in the "D" category and said it was dull. Now they give it a B+. They say the second season is much better, but I think they just like it now because it's getting cancelled, and also because they've seen the horror that Fox had put in the spot it was supposed to be in before, an atrocious and truly dull show by the name of POINT PLEASANT!

Oh please, please, please WHY can't a miracle happen and The WB or UPN will end up picking it up? It would do just fine ratings for those channels (in fact, it would be right at home on The WB), and they'd give it much more of a chance than Fox is. It deserves better! If one of them would just pick it up and air it from the beginning again, it could certainly help it. It's a quality show and an audience would eventually catch on.

OMG...

'Twas a Night Before Christmas... Again' was definitly one of the better eps of TC. Don't want to spoil it for you, but that goddamn corpse! Arggggghhh!

I still have faith FOX or someone else will continue the series.

The first episode aired today, I watched it. It was ,eh, okay. I wasn't too impressed, but the concept is interesting. I'll keep watching it for the next couple of episodes.

The first episode of the show? As in the first season? The pilot episode?

If that's what you mean then keep watching because it gets better and better. Just give it a few episodes.

Yeah, the show takes some time to get going, and find it's own style. Don't abandon it right away, try to stick with it.
