I binged the first season of this yesterday in almost one sitting - I think this is pretty easily my favorite show of the year so far. It's hilarious, fun as hell and incredibly moving and heartfelt. I haven't come across a cast of characters I've fallen in love with more in quite some time. The entire cast is fantastic (I really don't think there's a single weak link in the main ensemble), there are some great cameos and one-offs from everyone from Charli XCX and Megan Fox to Connie Britton and Kyle MacLachlan, and the central friendship between Benny and Carmen is beautiful in the way that it develops. The end of episode 5 in particular - I sobbed. It's a total nostalgic throwback to shows like "Greek" with a bit more edge and I didn't want it to end. I need season 2 immediately.

I’ve never seen Greek or for the most part watched a college set show but MAN did I wish I have this show in college, I think I would’ve come out a lot sooner. I feel seen and I need more from everyone, Benny and Carmen especially are amazing together and Grace and even Peter develop more, I’m conflicted in a lot of ways about Peter and would love to see what season 2 has in store for him

Yeah, I thought they did a masterful job of making every character flawed but relatable. Even Peter as the 'villain' of the show in some ways you can't help but root for especially getting a bit of info on his backstory - he's just young and stupid.

"Greek" is a total delight and while not as queer as this one definitely deals with similar themes and has a character that is gay that goes through a lot of the experiences Benny does here. It's definitely underrated in terms of the YA show lexicon.

This is wonderful. Very funny and cute! I loved the two leads. I hope we get more seasons.
