Last 2 episodes were great. Gonna be tough to go with Part II's storyline lol

Eh I think this should have been two episodes. They didn't even introduce Abbey.

Overall I'm pretty satisfied with this adaptation though. The changes they made from the game seem to have had a positive outcome on the reception.

I guess the woman who voices Ellie played her mother at the beginning. That's a nice touch.

And one of the nurses was played by the woman who voices Abby. OK, Last of Us, I see you.


Also, non-game players, do not look up anything about part 2 unless you play the game first. You will regret it. It's a crazy ride. I like it better than the first, it won Game of the Year at the The Game Awards, but some people really fucking hate it. Will be interesting to see how they handle Certain Things.

Amazing show! Best video game adaptation I’ve seen.

Love this show, loved the finale, love the pairing of Pedro and Bella as Joel and Ellie. It's a great show.

I'm very leery about another season (seasons?), especially since I've heard the next game is polarizing? I also hope they don't fall into the TWD trap of "let's stretch two episodes of progress into a whole season!" for the sake of ratings and popularity.

Twitter is hellbent that I get spoiled on it but trying my best to avoid spoilers.

I really enjoyed the big decision Joel makes in the finale. The whole thing started with losing his daughter. Made sense to me the (selfish?) decision he made.

So Ellie and her lesbian friend both get bit and neither of them suggest spending the next 3 days banging everywhere they can think of in the mall, getting hammered, playing Mortal Kombat naked, etc. until they turn into zombies?

Having seen some of the walkthroughs/clips of the second game, when I saw someone suggest this a while ago it felt right to me. She should do it.

Kaitlyn Dever cast as Abby. Seems too cute instead of jacked. I bet she was their original 2nd choice for Elie.

Oh boy here we go! Kaitlyn better start creating some alternate social media accounts right about now lol.

Abbey is a tank in the game, mirroring Joel more than Ellie, but I can see why they'd want her to be a mirror of Ellie on the show since they'll probably cut down on the action scenes like they did in S1.

The big moment delivered, good use of zombies too in a Helms Deep/White Walkers attack way too even in the B plot.

That the social media reaction seems closer to 9-1-1 killing its main character than the Red Wedding kind of shows that nothing can really get to that level in terms of water cooler these days anymore. Some of the unspoiled people in real life probably are freaking out though.

They should have done it last week. Would have had a bigger impact. Great episode of television though.

Also kind of feels like everyone, even those who didn't play the games, knew it was gonna happen. Though perhaps that is fitting as the cut scenes of the game leaked out ahead of time. Almost all the "Last of Us ruined gaming" people made up their minds about it before the game even came out.
