 Willow (Disney Plus)
I watched the first movie recently. As a fantasy fan I found it alright. The first episode of this show (haven't watched the second) is built from familiar parts but addressed some criticisms of the film that I had and had more character and story.
Though of course its got a major lesbian romance lolol if you didn't know this was a Disney 2022 production.

Cancelled
I saw the first episode and it didn't seem too bad, but not quite enough to keep watching. I liked the look and 90s fantasy throwback but people are clearly more into GOT style these days.

Disney is the only major studio that has LGBT elements in every single film nowadays. Considering how they only make up like 5% of the population, realistically only like 1/20 main characters should be LgBt if we were really just going for “representation”. It would only be in like every 4-5 projects that way. It would be nice if they made some stuff where I didn’t have to watch that.

 Re: Willow (Disney Plus)
Apparently not cancelled. Think someone was quick to jump the gun.

He says the actors are allowed to do other things but it’s not officially cancelled.

 Re: Willow (Disney Plus)
Since Disney themselves hasn't said anything yet, I wonder if some insider had knowledge of a likely cancelation and leaked it was "canceled" to reporters. That way, the bad publicity and backlash the news has received could convince Disney to give them a Season 2.

 Re: Willow (Disney Plus)
The show didn’t have good ratings. Don’t know why they would bother continuing
