 RIP Regis
One of the last legendary names of television is gone with the passing of Regis Philbin. In the era of "I can't make it in my actual profession, so I'll host a talk show", Regis was an actual true TV host. I'm sure if he hadn't been pushed out, he'd still be co-hosting Live with Kelly Ripa. And of course I don't know if the primetime game show would have hit such a resurgence without his hosting of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?
