I figure if there’s a gap of a year then its just a new season. Breaking Bad has 6 seasons, Kimmy will have 5 + a movie.

I went through one cycle of the new interactive special today and it was so fun and hilarious. Going back for another sitting. They get really creative and there are a lot of fun surprises.

I had fun with it, but there are two Major issues:

1) The interactive thing doesn't affect the story at all. You choose between moving forward with the storyline or seeing an amusing cutaway. I went back in for a second playthrough and you get an immediate game over by choosing Jacqueline over Titus, which kind of broke the whole experience for me. They could have just shown these cutaways without the need to stop the momentum of the program.

2) The conflict between Kimmy and The Reverend was more ideological by the shows end, the DJ Fingerblaster documentary highlighting it. The Reverend had built a cult who believe he was innocent because "kidnapping women shouldn't be illegal." Instead of following up, they go with the ole "what if there was a second bunker ehhhhh???" The game plays more like a reunion special than a final episode because of this.

The interactive special is delayed here possibly because of Chinese dub voice actors

Some of the choices do affect things though, like when I went through the first time I got an entire subplot with Zak Orth and then if you do it another way you get one with Heidi Gardner.

And while Kimmy gets married regardless in most iterations the outcomes for Titus and Jacqueline can be quite different.

I guess that's something. But is it really a different story or just a different person annoying Jacqueline?
