I enjoyed the novels and the 2004 film as a young teenager, but I find this series a tad too dull and repetitive. It is what it is, but, "the heroic orphans almost find a nice home with an eccentric relative, but Count Olaf ruins it, rinse, repeat, rinse, repeat" grows wearying as serialized television.
