I'm about to watch the season finale and while this season didn't have a character like Vee, this was still an AMAZING season, so much happens and it shows how fucked up these people are.

Idk if the season finale can top the last one, but holy fuck this is as good as the second season and that is a great thing. The "lighter" tone did wonders, I mean some fucked up things happen but this season feels lighter than the second.

Piper is a royal cunt.

OMG Pennsatucky. Her episode was heartbreaking.

On episode 9. As amazing as ever.

I just finished episode 10. Eek, so damn depressing. I know there was something really off with that officer but I liked him at first boo.

I thought it was a great season. I'm loving the new Piper. Is it just me?

I'm almost done. The all-star this season has been Pennsatucky, but I've also loved the storylines with Poussey, Sophia and Daya/Aleida. I really hope Natasha Lyonne isn't gone from the show forever and comes back next season, she was one of my favorites and her episode this year was great.

Just have the finale to go and I'll probably watch that later today.

Also, Mary Steenburgen was lovely this year.

Taryn Manning definitely deserves some Emmy love. The whole thing with her and the guard as well as the scene in the bathroom was so heartbreaking and haunting.

Alex is clearly not dead - but I wonder what's going to happen with Daya's baby. Is Mary Steenburgen going to be involved again? Also I felt bad for Stella by the end - Piper was a huge bitch this season (I liked her a lot though) and it's an interesting shift from her playing the victim as she did in the previous two.

Disappointed there wasn't more resolution to the Sophia/Gloria storyline. And that creepy guard has got to go.

The scenes at the end at the lake were really lovely. Also here for Poussey and Soso.

Just finished the last episode. I would be lying if i said I wasn't slightly disappointed with this season but overall it was very entertaining and although the stakes weren't as high as the other seasons it was nice to see them focus on other characters and the show still hasn't lost its poignancy.

I found Piper's transformation relatively zZz. I'm surprised she didn't get her own flashback episode but I guess we've focused enough on her already.

Just finished the season. I've run out of ways to praise Orange is the New Black. There's never been a show like this. It just comes together in a way that's so powerful for me I can't even really describe it.

The end of season 2 with Rosa mowing down Vee was a moment of "hell yeah!" triumph, and the end of season 3 with the inmates jumping into the lake did it again.

I mean, yeah, we have the cliffhanger of Alex's life hanging in the balance and Piper breaking bad but...you know. It was a really beautiful end to another fantastic season.

Now I have to wait a year again?

I'd have to pick this as my favorite season so far. Great storylines this year with Big Boo and Pennsatucky's being my favorite.
