Can't wait because it will finally be over after this Though I'm hoping they go out on a high note.

 Re: 'Dexter' (Season 8)
The premiere was solid. Not anything great, but solid. For a final season though I feel like the stakes should be higher.

 Re: 'Dexter' (Season 8)
After seeing the premiere, I have a feeling that Debra will confess to the murder of Briggs just so that she can stay away from Dex. Considering that she feels he needs her more than she does him. If this does happen, I could see Dex either killing himself or finally getting caught due to feeling so lost without Deb. Over all, I enjoyed the premiere.

 Re: 'Dexter' (Season 8)
This season is really, really good so far. Haven't been this engrossed in the show in a while, mainly because I'm LOVING the work Jennifer Carpenter is doing.

 Re: 'Dexter' (Season 8)
I liked last season much more. I really hope this picks up a lot with the final few episodes.

 Re: 'Dexter' (Season 8)
It seems like a bunch of the upcoming major events have been spoiled online, apparently based on getting previous episodes right and the detail of the spoilers. I won't post it, but it won't go down well.

 Re: 'Dexter' (Season 8)
I enjoyed the finale, until the ending though. The final shot should have been: the camera panning over the ocean where Dexter drove out to and seeing a piece of his boat with "Slice of Life" on it, floating in the water. I just feel that is a more powerful ending than what we got.

 Re: 'Dexter' (Season 8)
Yeah, forget about what I said about this show being good The first few episodes were solid but it quickly turned more and more mediocre. There was almost no payoff for any of the long-term storylines and I really think the show should have ended with a Deb vs. Dexter element to it. Not to mention that HORRIBLE treadmill scene in the 10th episode, which was just inexcusable. I haven't watched the last two episodes yet but I read what happened and it sounds stupid. Also, I just found out that the showrunner changed for this series after season 4 this weekend, which makes SO MUCH SENSE now because that was the last great season.

 Re: 'Dexter' (Season 8)
The finale was fucking terrible. Even though it never reached the heights of season four again, it deserved a much better ending. Clyde Phillips' alternate ending would've been good.

 Re: 'Dexter' (Season 8)
Too bad, that would have been a much more epic ending scene. Overall S8 was very mediocre but I did like the finale. I actually expected worse.

 Re: 'Dexter' (Season 8)
I've started watching S8 yesterday and finished today. I liked it. And I like the final shot. Was it perfect? No. But I do feel it was good enough for a series ender.
