 Re: "True Blood" (Season 5)
I liked the episode in general even if it mostly served as an excuse to move the various characters to particular locations for the finale.
Also, I'm unable to decide if the scene with Sookie and the Spastic Dancing Faerie Elder Asking About Ke$ha and John Cougar Mellencamp was funny or horrible. Probably a little of both.
The stuff with Alcide may have been worse, though. I'm all for the shirtlessness but his character is terminally boring and I don't care about his daddy issues.

 Re: "True Blood" (Season 5)
I just caught up since the finale is tonight and watched the last two episodes. This is the worst season yet. I seriously couldn't care less about Lilith or anything involving her, and the fairy scenes are hilariously awful.

Yeah, even the Marnie stuff was more interesting (can't believe I"m saying this) than the Lilith/Authority stuff. If this finale is a mess than I won't even be excited for the next season.

Welp. Looks like season 6 will be The Year of Billith.

They just couldn't kill Bill off, could they? I like Bill, and he's so much more interesting as evil, but this show's lack of balls is epic. It and Dexter go hand in hand in being terrified of changing the dynamic.

 Re: "True Blood" (Season 5)
Yeah, for a second I thought they really got rid of Bill. That would've been interesting.
The finale was entertaining but I hope next season is better...

 Re: "True Blood" (Season 5)
Sam shifting from fly to human while inside of Barb from Cougar Town's mouth was one of the funniest things that's ever happened on True Blood, btw.

 Re: "True Blood" (Season 5)
Great finale (other than the boring wolf scenes) to an entertaining, if flawed season.
Amazing final scene. Can't wait to see where it goes next season.

 Re: "True Blood" (Season 5)
I was finally able to see this season had to watch it on HBO GO. I agree it was a weak season. Still, I think season 4 was worse since the witches were such a huge let down. Bill going evil and batshit was weird and was sad to see Russel go but I think they had no where else to go with him. I am not sure if next season will improve or not now that we have Billith. Hopefully, Winslow (who might be played by Rutger Hauer) will end up being the main baddie by the end of the season.
