I'm not sure if there has been a thread like this yet. But what does everyone think will be the first of the new shows canceled on each of the main networks?

My picks:

NBC - CHICAGO FIRE
ABC - 666 PARK AVENUE (It looks interesting, but probably won't turn out well. I could see a decent start but a fairly fast fall.)
CBS - MADE IN JERSEY
CW - BEAUTY & THE BEAST
FOX - THE MOB DOCTOR (I'm hoping I'm wrong as I really like Jordana Spiro and Zach Gilford and think it seems enjoyable.)

I actually wouldn't be surprised if "Elementary" is the biggest new hit of the season.

My vote goes to "Guys With Kids" or "The Neighbors."

I doubt Elementary or 666 Park Avenue will be canceled quickly. They both seem like hits to me.

I actually changed my CBS pick to Made In Jersey. I didn't really know much about that but decided to look it up in the recent Entertainment Weekly. Doesn't sound promising, especially with its placement on Friday nights.

The Animal Practice/Guys with Kids 1 hour block is so royally fucked, lol

Also Ben & Kate just screams Fox show that gets canned after 2 episodes. Actually after watching the trailer, I'd pick that as the winner for the first show that gets cancelled derby and would put it contention for a 1 episode cut. So bad. Also, it's Fox.

"Ben and Kate" was wonderful. All of the FOX comedies this year are fantastic. I hope they make it.

I hope The Mindy Project is the first to go on Fox. Just looks horrible. Whereas Ben & Kate looks like the best new comedy on basic cable this year.

Mindy Kaling needs to stick with writing. She was by far one of the worst actors on The Office.

ABC - Last Resort

NBC - Animal Practice

FOX - The Mindy Project

CBS - Nothing comes to mind

The Mindy Project is getting really good reviews. I think this could be a success for FOX. It looks way more charming than The New Girl last year.

The Mob doctor will be cancelled first with those ratings.

I'm thinking I'll be right about 666 Park Avenue . They should switch it and Last Resort, more for Last Resort's sake than Park Avenue's. But depending on how Last Resort holds up they might not need to.

666 Park Avenue isn't getting canceled before The Mob Doctor.

666 didn't premiere well but it didn't do the worst numbers of all time or anything.

That's not what this thread was about. I meant which would be the first to get cancelled on each respective network. For ABC that could be 666 Park Avenue. They could keep it around a while though like they did Pan Am, though they were likely fonder of that show and it did debut bigger.

definately that. It was bad enough having to hear Fran Drescher talk the first time around in CBS

ABC - 666 Park Avenue (32% from last year's Pan Am, it started off well but fell very fast and failed to get another season)
CBS - Partners (On Average, its retaining less than 67% of its lead in. In fact, it is less than half of last year's 2 Broke Girls when it aired in its 2nd episode).
NBC - Animal Practice (Did worse than last year's already low-rated Up All night. The controversy will probably it get cancelled).
FOX - The Mob Doctor (lost more than 50% of its lead in this week. 1.0 for a drama? Why would Fox not cancel this?)
CW - Beauty and the Beast (I've heard negative buzz from the show. It's one of those shows that fits into "been there, done that" category).

"Beauty and the Beast" is AWFUL.

"666 Park" could survive for a bit thanks to the cast. A bit too early to tell until next week's numbers.

It highly likely it goes under 2.0 next week. And having a large and expensive cast is not something that helps when you have low ratings.
