Why is Kris or Scotty ahead of Fantasia?

She's had a tv movie, done broadway and I think she's won a grammy. I'm certain she's sold more records than Kris and Scotty hasn't sold anything yet.

I thought the Beyonce, J.Lo and Underwood performances were really good. I thought the Haley one was AWESOME. And Scotty almost ruined the Tim McGraw performance. Blah.

Because that's a personal opinion?

Uh...what? That makes no sense.

Someone ranking Kris ahead of Fantasia is a subjective matter of opinion, which is why...he ranked him ahead of Fantasia. Because he likes him more. I don't see why that's hard to grasp or why you had to call someone out on it, especially since you're trying to use winning a Grammy and starring in a TV movie as your basis.

Yeah, I'm not as keen on Kris Allen as Libs is, but I totally understand why she (and I) ranked him higher than, say, Fantasia. Personal opinion is awesome. It provides us an opportunity to debate stuff. It would suck if we all agreed, you know.

To be honest, I'm only going by what I know of her. I remember that crazy AI finale performance she did recently, and that she had a really rough life and she had a reality show and the broadway stuff. But it's not like I study each and every move of these people after they're done with AI. Of what I know and remember, I don't think she should be higher than Kris or Scotty at the moment.

There's a reason I ranked Carrie and Kelly first, then provided a gap. After that, I liked the personalities mentioned and still like them, but Carrie and Kelly, to me, are in a class all their own. Same goes for leaving Taylor and Lee in their own sucktafantastic group.

Yeah, I didn't take sales or awards into account either. I put Kris at #3 because I like him better than the other winners. With Kelly, Carrie and Kris, I actually have their music on my iPod, which is more than I could say about any of the other winners.

That, and he's just so damn cute. And sexy.

At the end of the day folks, there are no losers on this show cause everyone walks away with a recording contract one way or another.. Everyone wins in the end. Now whether or not they can sell is a different story all together.. So the guy who won this season gets a recording contract.. Anyone think he'll do well in sales or be quickly forgotten like so many others have???

Country is a whole different story for Idol, IMO. The only successful and still relevent country idol is Carrie Underwood but others like Josh Gracin and Kellie Pickler had pretty good runs. I think theyll do quite good, specially Lauren since she has the crossover potential.

Scotty, in reality, is nothing short of the Rich Little of country music. He's been doing an impersonation the whole time. Spot-fuckin'-on, but it's true. He'll likely go far with the voice in the country world. They're clan-ish. They'll embrace him.

I just hope Haley succeeds with her eventual album.
