Hanako-kun and What Did You Eat Yesterday? are only there because of the luck of their release schedule. Last year they did not reach 100k in a single week, this year they did. They did not especially grow in 2023.
However, the other 4 series did. [Oshi no Ko] will be a mainstay of these 100k+ first weeks. Chiikawa and Onna no Sono no Hoshi too, but they rarely release volumes (only one a year it seems?). Yamada needed the full 7 days to barely pass the 100k threshold. I doubt we'll be seeing it again considering the anime momentum won't be there to help it next time.

Last year gave us Blue Lock, My Dress-Up Darling and Daemons of the Shadow Realm. This year is clearly weaker in terms of new 100k+ sellers, as Oshi no Ko is sort of alone there.

If all this represents the main reason for the smaller number of 100k first week, I must also say that Tokyo Revengers's end alone led to 5 fewer 100k first weeks (from 6 to 1).
