Re: Game of Thrones roundtable: Who will sit on the Iron Thr I'm intrigued by zwackerm's prediction that after they've been too afraid to kill off even characters like Tormund in recent years, they won't risk the backlash of characters like Jon and Dany dying. If people leave the finale pissed it will hurt a lot in the long run

I have few thoughts about it, that Dany will not make it to the end, a sacrifice death is what I expect too...while Jon, he'll survive but he'll not want the Throne.
The Whitewalkers winning, while it crossed my mind, it just doesn't seem typical for the show to finish like that, so I think it will be smaller character to be on the Throne eventually. My wife hints it'll be Gendry.
