It's well compiled though, I don't remember ever thinking much of her character, positively or negatively, didn't think the film was that great either, it feels overrated, has a just RT score.
But wish you you made more of stand with your conclusion.

Re: Was Jenny from Forrest Gump a bad person? Definitely not, but I mean this film is hardly an individual character study, every character is pretty much an accumulation of a demographic.
Doesn't mean it still isn't a great film. It's more about Tradition vs. Independence and they ironically have more freedom in tradition and more control through independence.
The one thing about Gump I've always loved is that he literally never makes a decision for himself. Also, pretty much he started running after Jenny left, for what 4 years, settled things and found his way to her. The 5 year and AIDs argument really holds no water.
