Forgiven not Forgotten put The Corrs on the map, but Talk on Corners deservedly made them international superstars. The album is romantic (Don't Say you Love Me, Intimacy), fun (I've Never Loved you Anyway, When He's Not Around), dark (Queen of Hollywood), and relatively heavy (Only when I sleep). Nothing here comes close to the greatness of Forgiven not Forgotten's Runaway, but I'd say this was a better album overall. And Sharon's violin rocks as usual. Too bad they had to Americanize their sound for In Blue, and became a very boring band in the process.

10/10

This album single handedly got me through high school exams. I must have listened to it a thousand times going through revision. It sounds a little dated now, but it'll always be special to me. Just for sheer nostalgia, i sitll give it an A.
