Yay! Madonna finally!

Hard Candy is definitely not her best album but it's not her worst either. It's a shame that 4 Minutes was such a big hit because it's not the best song on the album at all.

Highlights are Give It 2 Me which did not get a fair chance at all; She's Not Me; Beat Goes On; and Miles Away.

8/10 -> B

It's Madonna and it's good as usual.

Miles Away, She's Not Me, Devil Wouldn't Recognize You would be my picks for best track.

C+

I found this incredibly bland, and for someone who's 50 and talking about opening their legs it's rather classless.

Best songs: Heartbeat, She's Not Me

Another contender for weakest Madonna album. I'd place it somewhere in her bottom three or four.

I like the idea of infusing modern R&B with some of the older stuff from the 70s and 80s, and I think it works for the most part in the Pharrell songs. The Timbaland songs are very commonplace though, and don't really have much of an effect. You can pretty much split the entire album right down the middle between both camps and see the difference.
